There is one glaring error in that article.
If it is 325 light years from earth it is no longer in our solar system. Moreover it specifically states that it is close to another star (sun), which would make it part of that solar system, but not our solar system.
    Sloppy editing.

Last time I checked, Jupiter was in our solar system.

Yes, and how many stars are in our solar system?

It should have said in our galaxy, theMilky Way, which is 100,000 lightyears in size. And clearly they are not talking about Jupiter and our Sun.
This planet (and its sun) is 325 light years away !!

And I thought that the article about the death planet Wasp-18b was only making a comparison with Jupiter

I didn't see any indication the article was implying Wasp-18b was in our solar system

But then my mild dyslexia sometimes causes me to miss read

Don't think so this time but stand to be corrected if I have

You did not write the article, you merely quoted (linked) it, warts and all..

But now that I read it again, I noticed the -- and they might just have referred to Jupiter as our largest gas planet, which is true. Perhaps I was overthinking this myself....
