This is true and obviously relates to the size of brain...
Fish brain is about the size of x, where x is the person you think is most incoherent.
Bacteria (and all other single celled organisms) do not possess a brain.
Most organisms (on earth) are brainless, so they have no minds.
However, God is a kind of "mind", but a spiritual one, so doesn't require a brain.

Now that's a new point of view (definition) I have never heard before

But it fits right in with all the other nonsensical aspects of religion

Make it up as you go along folks because nobody can fact check it anyway

Birch, have you ever had or expressed a pleasant thought in your life? Just curious.

By the way, do you think a car is intelligent?

Intelligence: one should be instincts other acquired/evolved due to energy redistribution from physical o mental.

When we get food easily ready made foods(not like getting food in natural ways), when we take processed & cooked food, when we take odd(unnatural) foods in quality & quantity(eg white sugar) etc. all these need less physical work but still same or excess energy/nutrients absorption. This may cause energy redistribution in body. Someone felt, we have been evolved to smaller stomach but bigger brain size due to it. Probably, it may be a reason to getting more intelligence(mental strength) for creative and destructive technology recently by gaining and using more mental power.

There is no doubt we have evolved to have a relatively large brain, which is responsible for a significant proportion (up to 20%) of our total energy consumption. Are you suggesting that as humanity developed new, more labour-saving food sources, this somehow led to evolution of a larger brain? It is an interesting idea but can you show any references in support of it? Or is it just your personal speculation?

Yes, turns out our 21st century diet of highly-processed foods and simple carbs is not making us more obese, it's making us smarter!
Krispy Kreme is the new brain food.

Thanks for this. Another article about the same person here: https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/st...olution-of-the-human-species-new-book-argues/

So, yes it does seem to be an argument that fire and cooking altered the balance between eating and digesting and other activities and supported the growth of a larger brain and smaller digestive system.

So that makes cooked food "natural", indeed essential, for us humans, then.

To the first statement , so it seems .

To the last statement , I wouldn't call cooked food " natural " persay but it does make certain foods easier for our body to digest .

Yes it has become secondary natural and so also has many side effects. I can not say, if such energy redistribution from physical to mental, resulted excessive new introductions of both creative and destructive nature, are really in our interest or not.

....2 Also thanks for providing similar another article. I am trying for find more information on it because impact of energy redistribution can suggest substantially our modern behavior as compared to older behavior. Mostly, getting easy food without much/natural physical activities, easy digestion due to processed cooked foods and intake of odd foods, but still taking similar or even more energy, should be causing such energy redistribution from physical to mental. It is very important to better understand it. Obviously, one may need to manipulate more mentally, if he avoid getting foods by physical efforts. I think, this aspect can be more prevalent in city area than village area where there difference in physical vs mental activities. Acquiring more or unnatural consciousness & intelligence esp manipulative should also depend on this reason.

We have no idea when intelligence arose in the Universe .

But taken from the Babylon 5 SERIES , there are the First Ones .

Now there's a way to score credibility: use fiction as your source material.

That certainly explains a few things. Babylon DVDS and von Daniken's books on the same shelf.
