    Wait!
Do you mean the voices that tell you where the sharp knives are or the ones that remind you that everyone's watching you (and hates you)?

You didn't even address the OP but tried to curry favor with another poster.

But you have me on ignore anyway.

Hopefully not! Definitely a win-win if that's the case.

Don't know - but a cheap two bit troll might.

    Sharp knives? Voices?
If a politician was making an investigative report on science forums, do you not think they might talk some shit to establish what sort of reaction from the regulars occurs?

    Problem

How are we to distinguish between the shit politicians normally talk and shit being used to flush out a troll?

Also a troll with an anti-science agenda, or a crank "theory" axe to grind, might positively seek out the people and ideas he hates, in order to annoy them. Where better than a science forum?

True, but also what better people to grind the troll to dust than on a science forum and administered the final punishment and humiliation of being relegated to the trash can or worse, being banned. .

So far I have avoided the thrash can, but then my intentions are of "good will" and I think you will admit that, even as layman, on occasion I have actually contributed to the conversation. (361 likes)

I like SciForums and respect the members and mods for being patient with me, allowing me to present my perspective on an issue (right or wrong) and defend it, but always within the rules

    W4U is not a troll.
He is creative, lateral and against the mainstream - he's just not a d*ck about it.

When I was a young man
    Back in the 1960s
We used to make our own amusements then
Knocking on the neighbours' doors and running away

    Was that typical trollish behaviour?

We also used to throw pebbles on the rooves of chapels during gatherings....

    Wow!

R U really from the 60's? I thought you would have been extinct. Can I touch you? I feel so much like an archeologist at this point.

Maybe I'm just trolling - my cat made me do it.
