Does Russian really have so advanced missile weapon to bypass US defense system?
Can Russia nuke USA without alarm?

If you mean "do the Russians have missiles that can effect a sneak attack on the US by somehow avoiding radar detection", then I'd have to say it's unlikely.

Russia, like any nuclear power, can deliver a nuclear weapon to a US city and obliterate that city any time it wants to.

That's been true since the 1950s.

    Not the question, however.

There is a lot about the recent announcement by Putin that seems questionable.

I find it hard to believe for example that Russia has cruise missiles with a "miniaturised" nuclear power source. How is that supposed to work, I wonder? Seems to be straight out of Thunderbirds.

Nah, Russians never bluster, just ask Alexander Nevsky.

Well, many of our spacecraft have nuclear power.

'course, missiles rarely need low level, long-term power, but if he put it aboard a missile, he could technically be telling the truth.

Maybe Trump had him say that so to increase military spending.
Has the new cold war now officially started?

Putin's demo cartoon had them aimed at Mar A Lago.
I'd lean toward Putin doing the manipulating here. Trump has been bigtalking American nukes - Putin knows how to bully inferiors.

they cant find a old technology german submerine run by the argintinians...
how many nukes could you fit on that ?
    4 or 5 multi war-head's
thats say... 3 warheads per missile
    4 missiles = 12 citys

= 25 million dead in 15 minutes with 1 submarine

    https://www.moving.com/tips/the-top-10-largest-us-cities-by-population/

roughly thats around 25 million people killed with 1 old submarine comparatively speaking...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARA_San_Juan_(S-42)

now add on to that modern cutting edge science...

it seems highly probable that the Russians could fairly easily, if they wanted, wipe out millions of americans before the phone rang for DT to be told that something was happening somewhere.

Both USA & Russia already have submarines that cant be detected & missiles too fast to be shot down.(20 years ago)

current defense systems are incapable of bringing down low flying cruise missiles.
and... even if the usa did have for instance, its THAAD system up and running, they certainly would not be wasting it on protecting the general public or large citys.
the USA system protects the rich idols where all the rich spend all the poor peoples tax money.

all the US citys are un-protected generically speaking.

large scale Civilian casualties to the USA are just a good excuse to spend more poor peoples tax money on the rich.
    Thats how pure capitalism works.

"National Security" is in essence a Socialist concept and American Capitalists would prefer to watch american socialist leaning Democrats die by the millions than be seen to be not preaching from the pure capitalism hand book.

I have a feeling that relationship only works one-way.

Sure, radioisotopes to produce heat for a thermocouple or similar, but that indeed would be useless for a missile that is in the air for a half an hour or so, I'd have thought. And these things won't be specially light, seeing as they would need shielding to protect the people handling them.

I suspect an element of make-believe, trying to copy Reagan and his "Star Wars". Only problem is the US knows more about such things than any nation on Earth and is not going to get fazed by implausible threats from Putin.

    Lost.
Lost != undetectable (unless you also wish to claim that car keys are also "undetectable").
And, by the way, that missing submarine was built in Germany (i.e. neither USA nor Russia) 35 years ago (not 20).

Yes, and that's not even that hard. A nuke in a shipping container would do it. (Or in a commercial airliner, or in a submarine just off the coast.) The cruise missile he mentioned would also work for some locations, but both the US and USSR have had those for some time - and are reasonably good at detecting them.

    and in the space race
    and in more nukes
    and in a bigger army
and in gas sales to germany

now they are just sitting back and watching the USA beat its self.
