    Didn't happen

Quite right. Good idea when you have painted yourself into a corner, stop painting, let the paint dry, leave as quick as you can and hope that is the end

Ooops you're still painting. No such thing / place / experience as afterlife. Afterlife with a phone service?

    So where is this proof?

How long did it take to collect all the evidence? and have it verified?

This is not making fun but this is legitimate questions being raised about a very strange claim

I would be most interested to see any proof of the afterlife. Do you have it?

Of course it would comforting if you could be given a clear sign of forgiveness from the afterlife. Unfortunately, no such clear signs are apparent.

Experiences of contact from departed loved ones again. Remember what we were talking about? Also watch the video..

Unfortunately you weren't there when it happened and I was. Which makes your claim entirely worthless.

So the answer is NO - but take my word for it "you weren't there when it happened and I was" - "Which makes your claim entirely worthless - "you weren't there when it happened and I was" <<----- but this is bullet proof

So the "proof" is take my word it happened??

Yeah, I remember. You were saying you have proof of the afterlife. But it turns out that, as usual, you only have anecdotes.

No...I never said "I have proof of the afterlife". You brought up the hypothetical of a departed loved one making contact and asked why don't they ever leave meaningful messages. I responded that proof of the afterlife IS a meaningful message. That's what I said. Keep up with the conversation please.

"I responded that proof of the afterlife [would be] a meaningful message, [if it were found]."

    Fixed that for you.

But this anecdote is conceded as not an example, so afterlife remains hypothetical.

My mistake. So you don't have proof. Got it.

If they gave proof of the afterlife, why don't you have it?

You can't "have" proof of the afterlife you can just pull out and show people. You can only experience proof of the afterlife yourself with a paranormal experience like this. It's proof of the afterlife to you if it happens to you. But not to anyone else. Capiche?

Ofcourse if you have your own proof of the afterlife, then it becomes easier to see the proof others experience as more proof. Like that video you didn't watch.

That's a shame. I guess we'll never know if the afterlife is real, then.

That sounds more like a subjective belief or interpretation to me.

I mean, you have a mental experience, and you interpret it as an encounter with the afterlife. But that only tells us about you; it doesn't help us get to the bottom of the whole afterlife conundrum.

Right. You start to look for evidence that tends to confirm your preconceived beliefs, and you downplay, dismiss or ignore evidence that tends to disconfirm those beliefs. It's no different with belief in conspiracy theories, the Yeti, or UFOs.

And not much use in a discussion to make one's case to others.

IOW, other people's experiences aren't proof to you. So be it. Live in your little world of uncertainties and conspiratorial deceivers. But don't expect anyone to open up to you about their personal experiences.

What people say about their experiences of the extraordinary aren't proof to me. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence. Simple as that.

Human memory is unreliable. Human perception is unreliable. Human bias is a given. Add it all up and you find that what people report about their experience is often unreliable.

Conspiratorial deceivers is more up your alley than mine, I think. As for uncertainties, I'm at peace with those. It sounds like you very much aren't. You crave certainty, by the sounds of it.

    It hasn't stopped you.

    Implied from
    And
What worked? Did you request a phone call?

Why not? We have proof men went to the moon. That didn't happen to me

    ¿Comprendes?

I didn't open up to you about that experience. I just said it happened. Nobody is going to share shit with you as long as you think everyone is wrong about their own experiences. That's a given. And it's pretty nuts too.

It's okay, MR. I don't want in any way to intrude on your grief regarding your mother. We don't need to discuss that.

Hold that thought. Can you apply that and stop with posting stuff other people say happened to them?

    Like
    • I saw a UFO
    • A alien probed me
    • A pretty convincing photo of a ghost

    Prove it

If you want to discuss this topic, then watch the video. That is a fine and compelling example of what I'm talking about.
