No...what we perceive is overwhelmingly what we actually perceive. This is born out everyday of our lives, The things we misperceive is a tiny fraction of what we actually perceive.

Dream on. Oh wait, you already are.

Moving pictures. Did you see any today? Hint: they're not really moving. It's all in your mind.

I see moving images constantly. Images that change and flit by. There is nothing deceptive about this.

You really should stop looking at all of that UFO/ghost rubbish and learn something. The real world is much more amazing than the fantasies that you chase.

Here's another example that I gave in another thread: One time I thought I heard a fanbelt squeaking but I was really smelling it. My perception was wrong.

    Hint: so is yours.

No...your misinterpretation of your fanbelt has no bearing on the perceptions I have of my environment.

The difference was that I recognized the glitch in perception (not that I always do - nobody does). You prefer to wallow in yours.

    Seriously, learn something.

That's your problem. I have faith based on my experience of my perceptions. I'm not like you.

I've been all through this with MR. He honestly has no idea how fallible human perception, interpretation and memory is as a rule.

Nor is he wiling to learn about it. Which dovetails very nicely with his guilelessness when it comes to ghosts. He literally has no idea how or why people don't always see objective reality, so he assumes every account where someone cries "ghost!" must be a ghost.

People always see the objective reality that is right in front of them. And cameras see it as well. Hence the objective reality of ghosts.

So there are two ghost in the photo?

Ghost boots AND a blue slip of what appears to be fabric just behind the green dress girls elbow. Is the blue ?fabric? the ghost of a shirt? dress? spacesuit?

Why spacesuit? Why the girl is in a green dress and everybody knows green is the favourite colour of aliens so it's logical the girl is a alien

You can see the second girl's hair to the right of the first girl's head. Ponytail.

Ghost boots, ghost fabric AND ghost hair?

    How often does that happen?

Just a case of hyperfocusing in an attempt to provide tenuous material that will be presented as "evidence" in the hope that people will fall for the same thing the presenter fell for.

That's not a rolled up sleeve like the guard's shirt. Try again?

Just out of curiosity, why would a guard be guarding a remote stretch of beach? Wouldn't they be guarding the emperor's resort?

It's not a remote stretch of beach. It's right next to the summer palace. The beach is part of their patrol area. Didn't you read the link at all?
