Plain. V-neck is too flamboyant for us straight guys.

I don't know. I've got a pair of metro snow boots that I wear to work. I've received several comments.

I wore a T-shirt the same colour as my pants once.

How do you tell left-dressing from right-dressing on a teeshirt?
Oh, i just realized. It's got a picture of a tux!

I learned to reverse my belts every few days - run them the other way around through the loops, bringing the buckle end to the other side of the zipper - from a male-authored book of advice on clothing maintenance (to even out the stretch over time, he glibly claimed).

Now I discover I was being recruited. Catfished.

What's next - is my habit of dressing bottom up instead of top down undermining my masculinity? My fat brother-in-law who tucks his pants into his shirts is the real man, and I who tuck my shirts into my pants am a pansified belt-switcher?

No wonder the guys around here wear so much camo.

Onesies or longjohns or overalls might mitigate the problem and blur the distinctions - as long as you don't ask each wearer what they call the garment.

I also wear pants, and occasionally socks and shoes.
