I think he is based on the current state of Earth.

Does God code life on a computer? Maybe. All he needs is a time machine.

Good piece of coding could easily create that law.

You talk about god as if he is real which is clearly not the case so unless you want to go back on your statement that you dont intend to prove god is real can you confirm that discussion here is limited to a make believe god.

You talk about him as if he's not.

Well, even you admitted you can't prove it.

I was waiting for that. Neither can he.

    True.

Few atheists assert that God does not exist. Like you, they have their beliefs, but they know one can't prove a negative.

What they do have is the Principle of Parsimony - and a universe that ticks along nicely without the need for a God to run it.

We don't believe things exist when there is insufficient evidence for them. To do otherwise would be to believe in a nigh-infinite number of things - such as unicorns and pixie dust - for which there is insufficient evidence.

Kinda interesting. Billions of people put their faith in science without it affecting their belief in God. You don't have to believe in them, but you can't dismiss them unless you are an uneducated fool.

    They don't have to.

The whole point of science is that no one need take another's word for anything - anyone can go out and do the experiments for themselves.

Listen, you might learn something. The main science they have faith in is medecine, which has a cure rate of zero.

Well we each have our opinions and I should not be so harsh.
I have no reason to think any god is real.
I dont believe there are any gods and you presumably are much the same but have one that you do believe in...but as I say the universe is eternal and therefore there is no creator.

    And JC was a myth.

I am just a realist and cant play lets pretend but I guess I should not ruin it for others who enjoy makebelieve.

I like you as you are open and not tricky like some believers we get here and probably my responses have been conditioned prior to you getting here.

Have a great xmas break and may you find something in your stockings besidez your legs.

Hmm. I know several doctors. They've cured a lot of people. I wonder what thought process led you to such a denial.

No they didn't. They would of used drugs(that they no nothing about, hence placebo tests) to prolong the life of(terrible side effects in serious illness patients), make life more manageable or attack the headache until the cold goes.

God is a hedonist. Pranksters are more part of the free corner of hell.
