Agreed. It's odd that people believe in science when it gives them something nice (say, 787's, insulin and the Internet) but when it tells them something that they don't like, they immediately resort to: "Well, it's only a theory." "I don't much believe in that science stuff anyway." "Even scientists don't agree!" "They said it would be a new ice age in 1970. And they said the bumblebee couldn't fly. So how can we trust them?" "They are all ivory tower elitists anyway. Why do they think their opinions are any better than mine?"
alternately: as/re religion "Well, it's only a myth." "I don't much believe in that bible stuff anyway." "Even biblical scholars and religious leaders don't agree!" "They said Jesus was born to a virgin. So how can we trust them?" "They are all religious elitists anyway. Why do they think their opinions are any better than mine?"
Unfortunately according to my belief God is down here, so is Jesus "*somewhere* I think Jesus is in everything, every time you look at a persons eyes you are looking at Jesus.
or both are wrong? It's just a matter of perspective. 'A wise man once told me that truth is a crystal with infinite faces. If we are lucky, perceptive and diligent, we may see clearly through one or 2 or... ............with infinite more that we do not see
