Is it wrong to have sex for fun, knowing it might possibly lead to an abortion?

    Question...

Would you ever intentionally choose to live your own life in a way that could seriously hurt or even kill another human being, just because it is fun for you?

Some people seem to like that part of being a soldier, although they generally don't state it that way.

Like driving too fast, after a few drinks? Or drinking coffee or wearing diamonds produced by brutalized colonial subjects?
    Of course not.
But I have no idea where and how my clothes and home appliances were made.

Depends on the degree of risk. But yes, if the risk were relatively minor.

The way you phrase the question seems a bit tendentious. Who would admit to doing that "just" because it was "fun"? Probably no one. But if you were to ask if someone might choose a livelihood that might involve hurting or killing people, then yes obviously, Billvon's military example being an obvious one.

Can you give an example of the sort of thing you are thinking of?

I don't think sexual gratification and dominance are considered "fun". In other words, I don't think some psychopathic killers experience "fun" in the same way I do. Come to think of it, a sense of guilt is often leverage people use against me.

I think every body in the first world does, to some extent.

Sexual gratification? It is rare that people don't consider that fun in my experience.
Dominance? Some people do, most don't.

But neither of those involve seriously injuring or killing someone else.

Jeffrey Dahmer drilled a hole in a mans head and poured acid into it in hopes of making a sex zombie.

Theodore Robert Bundy was an American serial killer, kidnapper, rapist, burglar, and necrophile who assaulted and murdered numerous young women and girls during the 1970s and possibly earlier. After more than a decade of denials, he confessed to 30 homicides that he committed in seven states between 1974 and 1978.Wikipedia

Most people who own cars drive more than is absolutely necessary, for or in pursuit of enjoyment.

I am sure he did. And there are plenty of other rapists, criminals and sexual abusers out there. That does not in any way contradict what I posted above.

In my first post I mentioned "psychopathic killers", I was illustrating.

i.e. I am not a psychopath, I regard the OP question as psychopathic in nature and cannot understand it.

Ok, to focus on one aspect of this, because this subject was brought up...

In the way we live our lives sexually with others...

    1) Would you ever intentionally choose to have sex (if you are a male) with a female knowing that she could become pregnant, and knowing her and the circumstances, knowing that she would likely have your son or daughter killed by having an abortion? Again just because sex is fun?

    A child could die?

    And/Or

    2) Would you ever intentionally have sex with another person knowing that you could give them, or they could give you, a potentially deadly virus like AIDS? Just because sex is fun?

You or your partner could be seriously injured, or die.

So, in this case, would you be willing to risk the serious injury or the death of someone else or even yourself just so you can have a very brief pleasurable sensation from your nerve endings.

Is this an indication for being in religion section?

So your question boils down to "would you do fun things if they were risky?" Given that I skydive and BASE jump, the answer for me is pretty easy.

Getting out of bed is risky.
Everything you do after waking up has some element of risk.
A good life is one where risks versus benefits are well balanced.

So are you saying that you value the pleasurable experience more than you value your own life?
