For the inquisitive... In another thread, I briefly mentioned that there is evidence for God, and even the Exodus account (found in the Bible), located at the Real Mt. Sinai Site, from the events that occurred there over 3000 years ago. This information is becoming more well known all the time. But still needs more study and research. The above video is a brief introduction to that topic, if anyone is interested. I also have a 32 Gigabyte flash drive available, that I give away to people for free who ask me for it. It has slightly more than 1000 files on it that I have collected myself over about 4 years of my own research on this subject. This flash drive has Google Earth Locations and Coordinates for almost all of the numerous related Sites involved, some recent HD Drone Video Footage, On the Ground Photos, Related Written Documentation, etc. But you are, of course, certainly free to scoff in any way you wish to... especially before you have even really looked at the evidence seriously yourself, that would of course be the most scientific response ever recorded. Character assasinations of people you don’t know personally are also particularly brilliant as well. In my opinion it should be Questioned and Studied very carefully, as I have attempted to do myself, not just thrown out the window because “it can’t be true”. I would even bet that some of you could research it scientifically better than I am able to do, because you know more than I do on so many topics. I know..., “it has already been debunked”..., please, please, go ahead and tell me that one. Decide for yourself if you wish to... Or don’t...
The existence of Mount Olympus is not in question: we know exactly where it is. No gods were found living on top of it.
This is a discussion forum. Is there something to discuss here, or is this a shill to give away swag?
So, what have scientists said about your 1K files of evidence? Why present it here? This is just an internet forum, you should be taking it to authorities who can do something about it.
I don't see what one issue has to do with the other. If some aspects of the Exodus story were true, that wouldn't be evidence for God.
It is important for me to have Jesus in particular. He gives me a beautiful identity full of meaning. I am made in the image of God the same as you are. We are his greatest creation, flaws and imperfections and all. God loves us! God gives me a purpose on this Earth, to love Him with all my heart, soul, and mind. And also to love all others. I am commanded by God to love even my enemies. Though I fail at this at times. God gives me hope for the future both in this life and in death. Hope that He will raise me to new life with Him after I die. To dwell with Love (God) forever. That is why I need God... And I am fully aware that it is very likely that you and most people on this site, think I am crazy for thinking all of those things. And that is fine! Naturalism is a belief system that can be a kind of prison for the mind, limiting it, a faith that can, if you let it, make the mind blind to anything that exists outside of it. Theism can also certainly create a blindness of the mind in a very similar way. So as for me, I try to look at the Universe as being the result the two perspectives combined. Overlapping and weaving through each other. I know I am imperfect, I know that I am a sinner, just as Jesus said that I am. He is correct about me, and that is why I need His grace, forgiveness, and love in my life. This life is just the beginning of our existence...
I understand your perspective. I see it perhaps like footprints left in the snow. Footprints imply that feet made them.
There are a handful of scientists involved so far. But the Site still needs more scientific study. Dr. Glen Fritz, mentioned in the film, has a website dedicated to the topic. https://ancientexodus.com/the-researcher/ The Saudis apparently already know what they have, and they have been protecting it for years.
Then why do you reject the fossils of early humans as if they had nothing to do with the Human species. Are fossils less that foot-prints? Remember, you are rejecting the evidence that man evolved from a common hominid ancestor but accept the story of creation without question and without actual footprints, which would not prove much in any case.
Fossils are indeed real and I do consider them to be “footprints”. I accept that Evolution is real. And like you, I know that science is a work in progress. Sub component interdependent theories inside the overall Evolution theory umbrella are themselves evolving and being rewritten all the time, as new discoveries are being made. Some sub-theories are disputed by other scientists. That is the reality that is going on all the time. I am no scientist, but this causes me to be skeptical and cautious like you are yourself. There have also been a number of fraudulent claims about discoveries made in the past by unethical scientists seeking only fame and fortune.
Good. No God on Sinai, either. I can't blame him for not living there. Maybe He's skiing in the Alps; there are fewer God-botherers in Europe.
But they don't imply that they were all made by the same feet. And your examples aren't as similar as feet and feet. There could be incontrovertible evidence that a group of people travelled from Egypt to Palestine but that has nothing whatsoever to do with the existence of God.
Well, the physical evidence on the ground appears to match the account written in the Bible in every detail. And also according to that account God was very much involved in that journey. And there are physical remains of the acts of God still on the ground out there. There is no reason to separate God from these events unless a person is extremely biased, or has blind faith in Naturalism. Science certainly cannot prove that God does not exist. That is only a faith position. And it would also create a number of questions. One would be... Why would Pharaoh ever release his slave work force and thereby knowingly risk the ruin of his own nation, without the acts of God described in the Exodus account?
The Shroud of Turin provides striking evidence that the resurrection of Jesus is very real, and so provides evidence that God is very real. It has survived very rigorous scientific study and passed all of it.
Excellent point, as you and I both know, it certainly has indeed happened with “Holy Sites” and relics, and on and on it goes. Both sides are guilty as charged. Thanks so much for making the point sharper!
From what I've seen elsewhere, not even close. You'll have to actually show us what you have. What's written in the Bible is only that the authors believed God was involved. Even if you could show us physical evidence of those events, how would you conclude that they were acts of God? On the contrary, there is no reason to connect God with those events unless you provide a reason. Bias has nothing to do with it. You don't have to be biased to want evidence that the accused did the crime. Nobody here is trying to prove that God doesn't exist. The question is: What evidence do you have for the events portrayed in Exodus and what evidence do you have that links God with those events? Before that, you need to ask the questions: Was there ever a Hebrew slave presence in Egypt? Did the events described in Exodus ever happen? And again, what reason do we have to think that God was responsible?
