I think everyone has good intentions in these situations but we have to be sure we're basing our opinions on the correct info and not propaganda written by liars. This looks pretty objective.

Anything with that green RT logo in it is usually pretty good.

Maduro supporters march through the streets of Caracas with Venezuelan flags

Let's not forget that we're the bad guys in the world.

    ?

my general opinion about south America
it swings between mixed market economy & extreme capitalism
this allows bribery to become ingrained in a system that doesn't deliver enough of its profits to the bottom working class.

once the level of bribery has been in-place for a few generations, it is extremely hard to maintain the economy while removing it and changing that illegal economy into a legal economy that serves the majority.

for all the global posturing & machinations of military power, it never ceases to amaze me why they(people in power) cant militarize the equal distribution of food and maintenance of critical utilities to prevent plague & famine.

Is this thread in the correct subforum? Is this another conspiracy theory?

i really like the redacted guy
he is smart funny and a bit cruel with the facts to leave little room for guessing while giving a chance to laugh at some very serious things.
i dont take his word to be scientific fact.
i doubt he wants his viewers to do so without question.

    however,
people quoting such news pieces to assert a codified semi lucid sub-narrative narrative are indeed engaging in conspiracy theory.

That's true but there's also the factor of American imperialism. There's a link to it in post #1.

US currently has 0 troops in Venezuela. Russia has over 1000 there now. Hope one day you end up just like the starving victims you're dismissing.

Look at the info in my videos to see why they're starving.

We don't know if the Russians have ulterior motives or they simply want to help them. Time will tell I suppose but stealing their oil is not the solution to this question.

If the Russians do have ulterior motives, our trying to steal Venezuela's oil is giving them a pretext to get their feet in the door.

i am guessing the Russians will be delivering much-needed aid and distributing it shortly.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperialism

    very difficult word to debate
attachments of cultural variance have direct cause and effect while foundational connection to all aspects of express contact.

US right wing globalism is pay-per-play on survivalism
they project their ideology as a process of trade by asserting moral absolutes in accordance with trade interaction.
morality by omission as it were.

where as the US left assert Aid for social use to support networks in grass roots/working class.
the application of the aid is directed to manifest continued support/groth.
where as contrastly so; the US right Aid is listed as a superficial act of throwing scraps to starving dogs as an ego gesture.
you see this in real videos and in basic policy.

orderly lines making sure everyone is fed
    vs
mass brawls throwing scraps to those who horde
while playing the "clever little scabs" line to assert those hording aid as some form of evolutionary IQ validation for boom n bust economics & alt-right ideological promotion through trade manipulation.

the usa lost in Venezuela some months back
now russia is going to be the real hero of the people simply by providing humanitarian support.

and who will then be given the contracts for trade negotiations ?
    russia !

us govt policy seems to be
let Venezuela destroy its self and turn its economy back into the stone age.

If FatFreddy really believes those troops are there to give aid, then he ought to be expecting them to do so any moment now, they've been there for a while.

Russia can't even feed its own population, and Venezuela already owes them billions it will never be able or willing to pay back. I very much doubt Russia is happy to be associated with this mess while people are eating out of garbage trucks instead of food trucks.

Who's gonna pay for them? Santa? Maybe they can invent a crypto god and pray to that for salvation.

One day I hope every dictatorship on the planet gets this treatment, just like everyone avoids doing nice things for jerks in their own personal lives.

    that's not actually true...actually
people pay homage to jerks all the time
    fiscal, ego & social.

that is because jerks make more money while being a psychopath.
it is not that they are better at caring, it is they are less caring so don't struggle over discussions that effect the life's and welfare of others.

"why are you still dating that guy he is such a jerk?" heard that one before ? lol(i am playing with the narrative to make a point about language use & social behaviour)

i have met plenty of people who do nice things for jerks to get something they want(in their personal lifes)

    on another tack
i know the odd very nice person who has pretty much all they could want, and more than anything i could give. knowing that and knowing that what i could do for them is not choosing to not appreciate them.
that is a very materialistic philosophy that you may not be intending to discus.
however it does come into the wider implied meaning on a philosophical concept.
attempting to interject the notion of polar binary conceptual process of action to assert absolute value is inconsistent with express human social behavior.

classic example "the group of guys"
though should you wish to get more technical and discuss cultural differences and inter & intra group social dynamics & hierarchy, then maybe we need another thread.
    last edit of this post
i think those observing the likes of the middle east can see that action & inaction can result in massive loss of civilization.
economics & macro-economics with combined fiscal currency economic trade lending deficit stuff is all a little fringe and ideally so as long as there is a fairly short distance between the people and their production of food.
