say someone is born ugly, or with a disease, or is trans and wants to change their Genes.

how do u change your genes.

Why? So that your children won't be ugly, or have a disfiguring disease?

Your genes are expressed in your development. Once you're fully-developed, they play a much smaller role.

For example, changing your genes as an adult will not magically make your face become more symmetrical, your lips fuller or your eyes darker. Nor will it reverse the effects of a disfiguring disease.

There’s a disconnect between gene expression and literal genetic information. We call the former the phenotype — genetic expression that can be observed in development and throughout life. We call the later genotype or genome which is a gross representation of all genetic information, expressed or not. Hereditary diseases are caused by malfunctions or mutations in one or more genes that are expressed. Once this has been discovered there is little to no “fixing it” by genetic coding. We can use technology known as CRISPR-Cas9 to modify genetic information before it becomes expressed; which is to say we can “edit” human genes while still an embrio to mediate these issues, but once life has begun to form in full swing there’s little or nothing to be done. Also, ugliness is subjective, and there’s nothing genetically wrong with “ugly” people, as you call them.

TL;DR It is presently impossible to change the phenotypical traits of a diseased individual whom has fully developed.

    P.S. Google is your friend.

That doesn't make sense, because children lose their neoteny around the teenage years. Neoteny is further lost in the adult years.

This indicates a transformation that occurs in the teenage and adult years. So if transformations can be triggered to occur in the adult years, why then cannot they be triggered to occur again, through some kind of means?

Example: Through some means, genes are changed.
Then, the transformation process is triggered, and after a few years the organism now contains the expressions of the altered genes.

    i like these changing jeans

(can genes re-code RNA to be built again? does the Gene hold the complete RNA so it can be re-produced completely with working DNA ?)

but they should be able to re-code the original growth size ratio, remove or replace hair, give more muscle mass to pelvic floor muscles, lower back muscles etc...

what industry stands to lose trillions ? US private health companys
why is the USA soo anti universal health ?
can the world realistically expect real gene therapy to be developed in the usa ?

But you've completed the growth phase.
Replacing 5'6" genes with 6' genes wouldn't make you grow another 6".

Hmm, I guess what I'm trying to understand is, can genes make things atrophy?

Say I have an unsightly deformity in one of my bones, say there is a bone which is protruding, in a neanderthal manner, such as the brow bone. Is there a way, that genes can cause my bone to atrophy, and lose its protrudingness to it?

Or is that impossible, and there is a second alternative to beauty.

Such as, simply making the rest of my head so large, that the rest of my forehead grows so large that my brow is no longer protruding.

As someone who is considered ugly by most women on Earth I think I would gladly change myself.

And it's not like the world isn't nicer to prettier people.

Scientific evidence shows that pretty people have more friends, more fulfilling sex lives, make more money and are more likely to be hired for many more jobs that unattractive people will not be hired for.

Attractive people are not like the rest of us.

By nature of their good looks, people treat them differently. And according to decades of psychology research, that can shape many facets of their lives—from their jobs, to their personalities, to how they see the world.

What they might be able to do in the future is to use CRISPR method of altering genes to correct inherited genetic defects, maybe?

I am total novice in this but at first glance it seems that if we can manipulate the genetic codes, we could theoretically be able to "rewrite" the mutated or defective genetic codes.

There are just 4 possible values in a gene, and while the program is very large and sophisticated, the process is strictly controlled by combinations of these four genetic chemical codes and should be accessible to alteration or repair?

    For an interesting aside on evolution (movement in the direction of greatest satisfaction);
p.s. the following clip addresses the ability to renegenerate.

IMO, regeneration is a "quorum sensing" process. Stimulate the master control environment and the quorum sensing in stem cells triggers regrowth.

Watching these clips it occurred to me that bacteria can be used for terraforming of suitable planets.

After all, cyanobacteria terraformed earth by infusing the atmosphere with oxygen allowing the emergence of the eukaryotes and oxygen based biology.

Send a few rockets with custom made seed-bacteria to various likely target planets and see what happens over the years.

In a relatively hospitable environment, the exponential function of mytosis will allow for the generation of enormous numbers over relatively short periods of time.
In cell biology, mitosis is a part of the cell cycle when replicated chromosomes are separated into two new nuclei. Cell division gives rise to genetically identical cells in which the number of chromosomes is maintained. Wikipedia

    A definition of biology;

    Biology is a self-assembling nano-technology with a programming language.

All biological living organisms are built from that same nano-technology, via two binary programming languages, DNA and RNA, ......

    Looks are superficial.
The essence of a person is what's on the inside.
I don't deny that you ostensibly have a handicap to someone discovering what's on your inside, but how much work are you doing to ensure that your insides are beautiful? (This is rhetorical. Only you need to know the answer.)

Question: have you attempted to approach people who have - in whatever way you deem it - likewise "ugly" exteriors? They might intuit what it means to have one's outside mask what's on the inside.

What is the point in defining something that has been around for more than 3.5Gy in terms of something that has been around for less than 3.5 decades? What insights can that provide?

A horse is an automobile that eats grass...
Can we learn about horses by examining the fuel-injection systems of a car, as it applies to a horse?

How life evolves and has reached the current stage of development, based on that ancient phenomenon?
No, it is not. An automobile is an artifact. A horse is a living organism.
No, because the question uses a false premise.

There are only about 1 billion girls in the world and out of these 1 billion I know that the very large majority will not want to date me or have anything to do with me.

I think it has everything to do with my looks and my economic situation.

Today you need to be very rich and handsome for girls to even consider you as a potential partner and if you don't have that then you will probably never be able to get any reciprocal attention from girls and yes you will never get a girlfriend.
