Winning the lottery, while not for everyone, certainly hacked the shit out of my life.

Lemon juice mixed with a little Argan oil can remove eye make up in a snap. I prefer retail make up remover, but this worked pretty well for a hack.

Speekin of oil... three thangs that will hurt olive oil flavor is wrong temperatures... light an air.!!!

I buy 25 oz bottles cause its cheeper than a smaller size... an after i open one i keep it in the refridgerator... but it will solidify an not pour out when needed... so first i pour half of it into a 12.5 oz bottle that i keep on the counter an its always ready for use... an its used up in a couple of weeks befor wrong temps have time to harm it... an the green bottles take care of the light issue.!!!

    Emmm... dont that look good

I'm nothing if not wise. I may lecture but it's an enlightening style of lecture.

if you intend to live to retirement age (60 years old)
save 10% of your wages & never touch it until you retire.

that is the ONLY way you can afford living to the age of 60

"retirement hack if you dont want to live as a bag-lady"

Many of my meals consist of frozen hash browns and meat pies done in the microwave

Microwave according to the box for the pies often left the middle cool

Adding more minutes dried out the pastry

Put a microwave safe cup with about 500ml of water in with the pie and hash browns (all together)

Juggle times around a bit to suit but the cup of water keeps the pastry soft

microwave browning paper works well, but as you say, you have to find your own set of times.
1 minutes on high from frozen, then maybe 35 seconds on high after sitting for 2 minutes then 2 sets of 20 seconds on high or such like with the bag open at both ends.
different pies have different quality pastry so the same on one packaged pie may not work the same on the next, the moisture of the pastry differs from pie to pie often.
and depending on f there is a gap inside where it has no filling and the type of filling.
    you can get quite scientific.

you could probably baste the pie with some vodka or brandy, (that means wiping it with a wet brush or dripping about half a cap ful on then heating it wrapped in a microwave browning paper sheet
some bags have browning layers built into them.
    that helps

I never saved shit, and I'm currently 68. Living indoors, not selling drugs or my booty.
