The answer: from the electromagnetic field, but this just pushes the problem back one step. Another answer: spacetime must have a charge accommodation aspect, the particle with charge is just particles of spacetime arranged in such a way that it activates spacetime (in a cascade) to produce probabilities of interacting with other charged particles. The activated spacetime would be modelled in terms of probability waves capable of collapsing into photons.

This is meaningless and explains nothing.

Where did you lose me? 29 others seem to have accepted it.

Spacetime must read the electron field at some point in order to reconfigure itself into a positron-electron pair.

How do you work that out?

There was 42 views (now) to this post minus me and you gives 40. There were 31 views.

All that means is 38 people did not bother to react.

    What do you expect?

The thing is, what you say makes no sense because you are in effect claiming a particle is "made from" a measurement of size and duration. It's lile claiming an ice cube is "made from" 4 x 3 x 3cm. Your idea of "particles of spacetime" does not help explain anything about the particle-like entities we observe in physics..

With that kind of math on a trivial example, it's going to be hard to sell your "theory".

You pseudoscience guys love to see the number of views; it's exciting to have so many people reading what you wrote. You know what? Most of those views are by robots. Hope I didn't burst your bubble...

The others probably just stop by for a chuckle like me.

probably 30+ views were created by willem himself/herself, by going back and forth. I doubt that more than 6-7 people actually read the OP and i don't know how many understood it. I didn't to be honest, but particle physics is not my expertise.

You did not understand it because it was gibberish
Nor is it willem's, he just writes nonsense.

I challenge you to come up with a better solution to: where does charge come from.

I think the answer to the question "Where does charge come from?" is currently: nobody knows. The electromagnetic field interacts with charged particles, but that doesn't mean it causes charge.

OP is short for Opening Poster (that's you).
It may also be short for Opening Post (that's your post #1).

"To the OP" means: "willem, this is for you."
