“There will come a time when acceptance will come to meet you. Your shoulders will soften. The sky will stretch out before you and the night will feel warm and comforting. Once you are free of resentful thoughts you will surely find peace. Your soul will be lifted. Wherever you are, you will feel free.”

Well, there is one winningly joyful quote by, Nietzsche: “The thought of suicide is a great consolation: by means of it one gets through many a dark night.

    Sweet dreams!

I love Nietzsche - many people don't because he seems preoccupied with suffering. I don't see it that way; he merely pointed out that maybe we should find some meaning within suffering, and that chasing happiness will actually backfire. But, ya either love or hate his ideas... it's difficult to just be meh when it comes to Nietzsche.

yet many people wish to make others suffer as a moral principal of retribution, revenge and for non compliance to morals(LGBTQ+ etc)

people often pick and choose their level of barbarity to service their own ID, once their ID feels full of blood & suffering their Super-Ego starts a parade selling wholesale moral non violence as the only acceptable model of Culture.

    people are weird

    Just thoughts,
Paradoxically, it is this paradox that grants the individual the learned ability to choose and maintain their individuality. It works well if the person is well. But real badly if the person is mentally disturbed or conditioned badly growing up etc....
