it seems to be spreading (my colouring doesnt mean anything specific i am just using the colours to add contrast between content and dates and journalists & countrys etc) though it gets a bit tricky trying to keep it edited with all te changes to modify text to all the same type etc and corresponding colour contrasts latest news says South Korea has ordered culls China https://edition.cnn.com/2019/09/04/business/china-pork-swine-fever-pigs/index.html Vietnam June 25, 2019 / 9:12 PM / 3 months ago https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...-vietnam-28-million-pigs-culled-idUSKCN1TQ0WG South Korea https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...f73b14-d8fa-11e9-a1a5-162b8a9c9ca2_story.html https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...n-swine-fever-outbreak-ministry-idUSKBN1W12WI Philippines https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019...ne-fever-culls-7000-pigs-190909052309745.html Cambodia http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2019-07/15/c_138228495.htm Japan https://news.abs-cbn.com/overseas/09/15/19/japan-culls-753-hogs-to-contain-swine-fever-outbreak Posted at Sep 15 2019 12:38 PM
i cant find any real numbers for cambodia i would think the numbers might be considerable, however if the bulk of pigs are kept in small numbers fairly well separated then maybe the spread is reduced(i dont know i am just postulating) list of all countries with African swine flu https://www.cpc-ccp.com/asf-in-other-countries African swine fever has never been detected in Canada, but it present in: China Vietnam African countries Georgia Armenia Russia Azerbaijan Ukraine Belarus Lithuania Poland Latvia Estonia Romania Czech Republic Belgium
as i recall mentioning the criticality of meat as the only primary source for brain development for pre & post natal children... i would guess it becomes more critical in the poorer countries. Countries attempting to climb out of poverty need to secure the brain development and education of their children it seems logical that countries which are poorer have a greater dependency on pork in asia. while a total ban on pork movement between countries may seem extreme. i am starting to wonder if that might be the only short term measure to try and mitigate the potential medium to long term impact on poorer countries.
