"The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the “agentur” of the “Illuminati” between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam and political Zionism mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…

We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil.

Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in to public view." - pike to mazzini

WW III could only result from stupidity at the highest level, like WW I

you kinda have to know how it works to understand the answer to the question
like a 10 year old child asking how a modern car engine works

they can grasp some ideas and simple principals, however the bulk of the technical explanation is a complete waste of time.

    WWIII is already in motion
it is a cyber war combined with trade war

i think what you are trying to ask is
"what type of conventional weapons based war will come next?"

considering your comprehension is that of around a 10 year old child, this is a HUGE question to answer.
some well educated folk who study war & philosophy logic & related subjects may have a better way to educate you.
i simply cant be bothered with all the typing.

i have a distinct feeling you lack the emotional intelligence to discuss death
    HOWEVER
    if i am wrong
here is your 1st link to start reading.

The proximate cause will be almost irrelevant, the true cause will be a confluence of social pressures; global warming, drought, wars, refugees, dictators, invasion, racism, lies, unemployment... You get the idea.

Perhaps it might be more helpful to inquire into what conditions must prevail in order for a world war to occur.

You need ideologies capable of exerting worldwide influence. And you need the world divided into contending camps, such that partisans of the camps are located all around the planet leading to fighting pretty much everywhere.

The Cold War was a classic pre-world-war situation. I'm not sure that those kind of conditions exist right now.

Depends on who was fighting who, what their goals were, and what kind of weaponry they were equipped with.

I think that right now, the biggest threat is regional wars between nuclear-equipped regional adversaries. India-Pakistan for instance. Iran vs Israel. A war on the Korean peninsula. Things like that. Those kind of wars could easily go nuclear, but probably not worldwide, threatening the entire human race, like everyone feared in the 1950's-1980's period.

If China invades Taiwan and the US comes to Taiwan's aid, that China-US confrontation could easily go nuclear and perhaps result in a global war.

there seems to be a bit of romantacism toward slavery & serial killers through history.

the most well know is the Roman empire
they had slaves and used rape and murder to oppress cultures and other citys
they would routinely rape and murder children

many countries would do such things routinely for sport up until the early start of the 21st century

what we now define as ethnic cleansing and serial killers was previously a moral and goodly cause for serving the leadership or church

most historic wars were al about rape murder (of children including men boys & girls & women of any age)
burning their houses to the ground and then occupying their land or taking the strongest as slaves and children as sex slaves.

Todays button pressing moral separatism seems to have adopted a selective re-definition of the facts to cater to a somewhat insular narcissistic concept of global consciousness.
    wholey human im sure.
the war on the poor by keeping low cost medication at premium prices
    the war on drugs
the war on terrorism(the removal of civil rights to abuse citizens as a fascist state actor)
broken windows(the war on anyone who was not white and rich in the city)
the war on black people(in the usa as institutionalized racism)

there seems to be some type of sanctified conceptualisation of the term war
i find that quite interesting in a time where urban terrorism has become perceived as one of the most dominant social policy and law threats

urban nazi terrorists is the big issue in the usa(this is WWII continuing)
yet look at the length people will go to, to declare it is not war, however, the religious extremists and the nazi terrorists clearly claim they are soldiers in a war.
a war that spans the entire globe

is WWIII the religious(Nazi Christians/ Muslim jihadists) terrorist war against secular civilized society ?

the cold war, was it really a war ?
many want to claim it was a war
yet it doesnt fit the narative of what many want to hold out as some type of bridge too far to concede moral concepts of social mandate and culture definitions.
both sides argument seems to have creeped into the way "others" are effected
    DPRK Zimbabwe
what other countrys have gone to war against their own people using starvation ?

has localized domestic cleansing been defined as not war ?

is their a collective ideological belief that is shared by people in different countries targeting the weak and poor ?

what about the touted new cold war II
    is that a war ?
china usa trade war are people dying ?

all methods seem to have the terrorism label hung above it to sanctify the ability to commit war like actions against the weak and the poor while holding their retaliatory actions as being called terrorism.
more colloquially "sedition" traitors, non patriots etc etc.

    last us election
Hilary was declared a traitor like the country was at war.
    were they ?
    are they ?

the irony of people talking about global wars as a frame to WWII & WWI is that they on the most part have no real idea about the wars and know next to nothing about them.

on the most part the question is wholey selfishly aligned for a need to assert grief and suffering to the exterior other and then compartmentalize that into something they feel they have no ability to positively influence a better outcome.
a disenfranchisement from personal cultural and social and global accountability

dont take my posts personally Saint
they are not specifically at you
they are about the majority of people who tend to ask the question.

Too many people; too little intelligence; widespread reliance on assholes who pretend to know what's whose what; the abiding human faith in solving problems by shooting at them.
An X event: general breakdown of economy, governance, law, social fabric and culture; chaos; extinctions.
5-7 billion (I originally said 10, but it'll happen sooner than that)
plus all the cats, wolves, dogs, horses, gorillas, cattle, sheep, pigs, domestic fowl, songbirds, dolphins, marlin, tuna, parrots, whales, bears, frogs, zebras, bison, okapi, elephants, rhinos, monkeys, salmon, bats, foxes, i'm tired now, fill in the rest,

yeti's, sasquatches, abominable snow men, bigfoots, chupacabra,

seriously for a moment, ironic to see how the loss of 1 single insect can cause human species starvation en-mass if the wild bee & honey bee were to die off.

just poking at numbers inthe air...
i would guess around 20% of the worlds human population rely 100% on honey bees

translated that means the total amount of food provided to feed the entire worlds population, would decrease by soo much without the honey bee that starvation would happen to roughly 20% of the human population having no food as inflation and food scarcity runs down the human food Eco-system.

it would be like an industrial vacuum cleaner being applied to the dinner table as people were sitting down to eat.

bird & small prey animals that supply the base of the food chain which holds the global ecological eco system together would be cut off at the knees

mammalian life would be set to the torch

this would create massive dependence on grazing stock as the primary food source

combined with massive plant die-off from lack of pollination or surrounding grazing lands setting grazing stock into bush-lands which would drive back forestation

the push to de-forest would escalate beyond the point of no return as people sought to provide grass lands for cattle sheep & goats

chickens would be almost wiped off the globe
creating a landslide into ducks which would be then wiping out wet land native fish spawning areas in shallow aquatic grass lands as this fed a starving dying population.

as the survivors sought more bush meat laying waste to jungle and forests to get to the last remaining wild animals to eat and foliage to feed their cattle

human civilization would break down into feudal Waring cannibalistic factions
this would be companioned with open war far between vegetarians and meat eaters with massive cull attempts to wipe out large population centers as quickly as possible

probably culminating in someone attempting an isolated nuclear strike on the most heavily populated centers of the world in a last ditch effort to save the species.

deep sea fish would be the last currency of a dying species ... the human

All that is not only true, but well on its way without a major war - all the little wars aren't helping, of course, but they're not doing as much harm as industrial farming and industrial pollution. 75% of flying insects - which is to say, most of the pollinators - are already gone and the so are many of the birds and amphibians that depend on them as a basic food source. The swallow population in my region has decreased by +/-90% over the past 20 years. Even ants don't adapt fast enough to take over all of those vacant niches. With rising sea water, devastating storms and insane politics, an awful lot people are already starving, displaced, on the move, and going rapidly feral.

However, there are still enough insects and plants species left to feed the remnant of human population after a comprehensive war - the planet could sustain a few million people with no jet planes, Agent Orange, cars or leaf-blowers.

i have noticed a massive decline in indigenous bird life in my area in the last 5 years
i had wondered if it was cats and rats combined

though i wonder if it is invasive predatory birds with rats and cats combined

one of the early signs the habitat is going down the toilet is the invasion of non native species.
though commercial morality has defined that as being not a problem.

Has there been a dramatic increase in cats, rats and predatory birds?
If not, you need a different answer.
Anecdote: Ontario has recently had swarms of Asian lady beetles that were brought into North America - Louisiana, I've heard, but have not confirmed - to eat aphids, because the home-grown breed wasn't aggressive enough.
    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/asian-ladybeetle-abundant-exotic-1.4347975
So now, this different strain has pretty much displaced - killed? - the native population, and taken over.
From my personal observation, they're not all that successful: three or four years, we had big, scary swarms in October, but they've been tapering off the past two years. Maybe not finding enough safe hibernating places?
btw no aphid infestation this year - and hardly any ladybugs... so, wtf?

was probably lack of government funding to protect the eccology that allowed imported pests into the country
then it was sold as intentional and they probably then went and stole millions of tax dollars to pay themselves to fake introducing them

    typical capitalist stuff

possibly mixed with deliberate illegal imports by farmers
then all mixed together while stealing millions of tax dollars off the working class...
    typical capitalist stuff
