New thread because I'm not saying anything in defence of Space aliens.
I found this video by Mick West interesting on the tic tac ufo.

This tic tac ('' go fast'') video is just over 6 minutes but comes up with a speed of 20 to 40 knots for the tic tac. Also 6 to 7 feet long and 13,000 feet high.
West does this by using the instrument readings on the screen.
By the way, lookout for the kids balloon ''shooting'' across the background. Also note at the end of video the form for this Navy video release ''Pulice release of Department of Defence information'' mentions balloons. Watch the video to see how this comes about.

Go Fast has been fingered as an East coast naval sighting ~ 2015. Nothing to do with West coast 2004 Nimitz Tic Tac incidents. He may be right though re misiidentification in that single instance. Funny that no-one in Navy or Defense Department more generally picked up on it if just parallax error and merely a drifting balloon.

James R has such an eager contingent of backup crew here - just a case of sit back and wait for the cavalry to show.
Well here we have Mick West doing his best to respond convincingly to someone not entirely on board with 'it's all just a comedy of errors':

Yes but nothing more significant than being one item in a catch-all category list, under 'SUBJECT AREA': 'UAV, Balloons, and other UAS'.
    I'm guessing UAV = unidentified(unmanned?) areal vehicles, and UAS = unidentified(unmanned?) aerial(aircraft?) systems (structures/sightings?).

    You're welcome.

Must have been the slowness for them to include balloons in the mix.
Clever of Mick West to show how he come up with that slowness just from using the on screen instrument readings.
Makes a mockery of that commentator from the programme ''Unidentified'' who said ''that thing is hauling ass.''

And has Mick ever attempted to get corroboration of his analysis from the pilot(s) directly involved, or from relevant navy/Pentagon officials? Not afaik.
