I would imagine that one could come up with a stage criteria to help in the understanding of what changes will take place, all the way to a worst case scenario...
    Something like the following...
    Stage 1
    Stage 2
Stage 3 :The stage of not being able to "stay put" would be about stage 3 when food security has more or less failed, Governments are on the verge of collapse, insurance is impossible to get and mortgages fail every where. Money looses any meaning
and a barter economy is starting to take hold. Nuclear war is ever possible and the energy grid fails. Transport and other logistical needs are not able to be met. Looting and general anarchy is endemic.
Stage 4 : Abandoning any individual accommodation due to food, energy and personal security requirements, seeking shelter such as defended stadiums, and other organized spaces.
Stage 5: The need to maintain sustainable air conditioned spaces becomes essential as the heat and humidity outside of the shelters makes it virtually impossible to go outside with out specially designed equipment and close to impossible to live inside.. Stadiums will need to be roofed, Hydroponics established. Energy from local diesel moving towards renewable, scavenged solar panels etc. Commincations and logictics have to be generated for all shelters to communicate. Surviving frequent peak conditions with frequent (>cat5) violent storms and storm surging ocean waters is a must.

The lack of forward planning will make all this really painful leading to only a few surviving through to later more sustainable stages.

    just ideas and thoughts...

The above is just a quick just now thought out list. Perhaps thrashing out a more properly thought out staging list would be helpfull

Stage 6 the zombies arise from the dead
    Stage 7 the Klingons arrive
Stage 8 things start to get difficult
Stage 9 no one can spell or use common grammar anymore and communication becomes impossible
    Stage 10 ...end times...
    ...

it wont lose meaning but US & Euro $100 notes will become $1.00 notes
1 to 10 $ notes will be worth less than the effort to carry or collect them.

it will be twentys fiftys & hundreds
everything will be measured in 10,000 bundles as a simple transaction
    1 meal will be $1000.00
the hotels and food outlets will be owned by insurance companys who will be owned by the hunger games elites
McDonalds/Taco-bell will be the only public opened food outlet
    $500 for 1 hamburger
government police & emergency employees will be the middle class and given 1 free meal voucher for McDonalds/Taco-Bell per day
they wont be allowed to breed(no children or family policy)

    Bunkers
thats where the hunger games elite will be living while calling themselves democratic leaders
surrounded by military who act as forced tax collectors enforcing protectionist money from anyone within a day or 2 drive from the compound.
The government hit/rape squad tax collectors will just go on pillaging trips to rape torture and exterminate villages and towns and take all their resources.

just like they did hundreds of years ago

and that is if it is a slow process , over years and not months....
we really don't know how bad it can get and how rapidly....
with all the gene editing going on zombies are actually a real potential.... lol

much more value in using the nuclear material as reactor engines to create electricity.
    black market
    boats and horse drawn carts

    only 3 items of direction
mercenarys going outward to kill and pillage(mercenarys traveling back probably by rail or looted trucks on bio-diesel or steam 4x4's)
labour/sex slaves carrying the looted resources back to the bunker via horse drawn carts and boats.

    lol
once they mix plant DNA with animal DNA and create a living thing that can think and exist with only a central nerve stem and re-grow limbs that it can move like an octopus...
then they will become the dominant species unles they doe from herpies

    Mock away!
Denial is a perfectly valid coping mechanism.
    It's worked all through history.

What if climate change results in loss of all electrical power? (QQ stage 3)
    (warning crude language)

Actually GW wasn't so bad compared to what we have now.

What if climate change turns most people into zombies? Like, not the slow zombies from Dawn of the Dead, but the fast zombies from World War Z? Will you have enough ammo?

And what if climate change causes all fruits and vegetables to emit deadly radiation? Best throw it out now, before it's too late!

Better hurry up and build more stadiums.

Well...what does the science tell you about the next 10 years or so? Add in what you know about human nature, and figure it out...
Going to need more than stadiums, is my guess...

I kept turning the monitor (tv) off then realised the program I kept watching was world news and not a netflix apocalyptic drama...

For comic relief, there's a political spoof on CNN.

Does California always burn like it appears to be doing at the moment?

Cheapest for the strength, and cheapest to heat, cool, control humidity, etc.
    If you can.
If your home is in the wrong part of Florida, say, you will be living without indoor plumbing.
Most of the people in the malls will have been forced there.
No. These fires have no real precedent in the historical record.

now move your thoughts to those who are pushing for a cashless society

    who are they ?
    how rich are they ?
what social class are they ?

how do they lose from having cash in society ?
how do they win from removing cash from society ?

who loses most from a cashless society ?

who gets handed all the power in a cashless society ?

who looses power in a cashless society ?
