So? The Senate is obligated to conduct a fair and impartial trial. If that can be accomplished without major witnesses and their pertinent, firsthand, evidence, ok. If that can be accomplished with eyewitness named participants in the impeachable offenses sitting in judgment, prosecuting, defending, and apparently helping to block evidence and witnesses against the impeached, ok. If it cannot, as here, the Senators who prevented it are in violation of their sworn oath. Meanwhile: Are you confusing rights with obligations once again?
