When records started.

The constant message in the news is that some weather has broken the record since they began. So for example, February in the UK was the wettest February since records began.

So for arguement sake, say records started 150 years ago. As measurements were taking, I imagine 'records were broken' quite frequently.

So at what point when records were being broken did the scientific community say, "From such a date, records are being broken by man made climate change".

    What was that date?

Yes. And as time went on, they were broken less and less frequently. After a few decades, records became rare.

They are now becoming more common again.

The scientific community has not said that yet. So there is no such date.

AGW has been dominating most natural cycles for a while now, but there is no consensus around how long it has been doing this for a given cycle. A recent article in Science presented evidence that some decadal changes usually attributed to a natural ocean temperature cycle in the North Atlantic were predominantly AGW effects all along - no doubt there will be counterarguments.
