I started a community group recently, and since we can't meet due to Cv19, I thought it'd be cool to try VC so we can all connect that way. I've really been liking Go To Meeting. Easy, and just what I need. I thought about Zoom, but it seems more business-ish.

    What is your fave?

I used GoTo several weeks back for work. I thought it cool. My roommate is using some other conference software since she has been working from home lately.

Do you think your company will let you work from home post CV19?

No, I work in hospitality. I will be happy to return when the crisis is over.

Yea, the hospitality industry was hit pretty hard. I hope you can get back to it, sooner than later. (and safely)

It certainly was/is. I enjoy my job, so I am hoping to get back when it is appropriate.

I just used ZOOM in a two way conversation. It works fine once it's set up.

I've used Apple's Facetime and Skype, for 3-way video calls. Both are fine, but with Facetime only the most recent version allows 3-way calls.

I've held out against Zoom, on the basis of reports I've read that the security is flaky (A mother's party for her children got invaded by a bloke clad only in a leather thong, who started swearing) and it is rumoured to hoover up your date without asking. But from what I hear, it is often chosen by people who want large numbers to join the call at once.
