Say what you like river, it does not make it logic, and/or correct.
    affect1

    verb
    1. have an effect on; make a difference to

The rules obviously are our attempts to avoid the virus.

Obviously , rules are the affect of the cause and effect of the virus upon ourselves .

Obviously the rules as invoked in different ways in different countries, are not directly related to the cause, effect, and affect of the coronavirus. They are man made applications to avoid the virus.

Because of the affects of the virus .

It is the affects of the spread of virus , sickness , that makes the rules .

Hogwash. The rules are what man initiated to avoid the coronavirus....that's why different nations have different rules, and why Australia and NZ having applied these rules and a stricter version of them, are in a fairly good position, relatively speaking.

Like the Moon having a dark side? Like the Moon not revolving on its axis? Like the atomic war on Mars.

I think the terms "effect" and "affect" are related in function to the terms "efferent" and "afferent".

    afferent

bringing to or leading toward an organ or part, as a nerve or arteriole (opposed to efferent).

You and logic are galaxies apart.
The rules are that applied by man to help avoid the virus. It has no connection with the affect or effects of the virus itself.
Those same variable rules are different in each country and will be lifted at different times, depending on the severity and numbers affected by the virus.
In time, rules are going to be removed, but the virus will still exist.

And its affects , regardless of any rules .

Cause( the sourse)-effect(sickness) -affect( consequences) death .

I recommend this astounding video to all who wonder about the otherwise unknown hidden intelligence in our non-human cousins, and why humans left the forests in spite of the greater dangerous conditions on the plains.

my understanding of the reason we left the forests, is because the climate in Africa was changing, and the forests were shrinking. We left because we had to, to survive as a species.

Climate change, as you may know, is the proximate cause of human evolution. We evolved larger brains, and we learned how to walk and run. Later, our running ability was key in the hunting strategies we adopted, pursuing prey animals much larger than us, running them down in teams so they got tired and we didn't.
