Whether or not you personally get infected is not going to change your country's reaction to this pandemic. Those who have contracted and survived this virus are living the same restrictive lifestyle that the rest of us are. Restaurants aren't opening just to cater for those with antibodies, etc.
Just on TV Euronews here in Bali about 08:10 am I wanted as this early morning news is repeated Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! As can see on screen this specialist in paediatric disease is linking this rare virus reaction to past infections To be clear past infections the child has had seems to affect the child's reaction to the virus Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
What does "past infections" refer to ? Other infections unrelated to covid19? I was under the impression that these paediatric syndromes were an after effect of the covid19 infection itself.
As I understand previous diseases, unrelated to COVID-19, child has suffered in the past, may increase the chances of the child getting a reaction, which is like the rare Kawasaki disease, if they catch COVID-9 Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Perhaps those earlier infections have left a weakness in the child that covid-19 has reopened? Personally I have had shingles (twice) which is a recurrence of the chicken pox virus which never goes away but lies dormant over the decades before 're -emerging as shingles when the body is said to be under some stress.
https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/full/10.1161/CIR.0000000000000484 The link above links to treatment for Kawasaki disease. It's very long and I gave up about a ¼ way through. Well above my pay level What I was looking for was a list of diseases those with Kawasaki disease had had in their past to see if there was a matching with those diseases COVID-19 patients had had in theirs Didn't find any list. Did find a snippet giving Kawasaki disease a higher rate of occurrence in Japan and Kawasaki disease link to a wind pattern in China Not sure weakness in child would be accurate. I speculate antibodies, in the child left behind from previous diseases, reactivated by COVID-19, secondary to the activation of the bodies immune defence activating to fight COVID-19, cause the symptoms of Kawasaki disease MY speculation X disease in child leaves behind a few X antibodies child infected with COVID-19 immune defence activated against COVID-19 X disease antibodies become reactivated X disease antibodies in the presence of COVID-19 antibodies produce symptoms of Kawasaki disease Speculation only Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Has the "don't have it" been confirmed by rigorous testing and ruling out, you are not suffering (ie if symptoms are showing) said symptoms are from another cause OR EVEN if no symptoms are showing you are NOT A CARRIER Either way stick to isolation until you feel safe to deisolate © Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I had the novel virus but my symptoms where mild. It took a lot to be tested. Testing is a failure here. I tested negative for the flu and that test takes 15min. I wish you all health!
I took one COVID 19 test back in July of 2020 after asking my supervisor what to do after I felt a sore throat. I did not enjoy the test and preferred to not have another test if I could avoid doing so so I tripled my intake of nutritional sulphur, MSM, and added vitamins C, D3 and zinc to what I take regularly in an attempt to boost my immune system. So far... so good.... I have not yet had to take a second COVID 19 test due to my never since July of 2020 experiencing a sore throat again.
March 2020 COVID-19 lockdown Bali / Darwin left me stranded in Bali Had what I took to be normal dose of flu which cleared up in few days. None of girlfriends had any flu symptoms Currently living with girlfriend for past 12 months no flu or COVID-19 symptoms but neither been tested Bali is going to open up a tourist attraction carpark as a drive through vaccination clinic. As soon as open I will go with Inul for her to get her shot Made a tad more difficult because she has been scared with the reports of deaths attributed (falsely) to the vaccine. I won't be able to get the vaccine to give her reassurance As last resort I might have to send her to her unit until she gets vaccinated. But that leaves me to fend for myself.
