Don't know why I thought of this Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!*belch* as I was listening to Madonna. The British will like it though.
Hmmm, strange...Many of today's artists, or those of the last twenty years or so, often comment on copying and/or following the styles and music of artists from the fifties, like Buddy Holly, and Chuck Berry. On the other hand, I cannot stand a bar of heavy metal noise, nor any claim that rap is even music...I literally hate both, but that's me. Perhaps I'm caught in a time warp!

Yeah nice, but the Greek Angel in the post before your's, has sold around the 300 million mark, up there with Madonna and company, and never needed to get her gear off to do it...like our friend BrittPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I haven't heard that since the nineties. I was more into Metallica and Rolands Band, but I think this is my favourite Maiden song, thanks for sharing <3
Different generation. I like most music I hear, except Jazz and some tribal music, music video is important to me now, Eminem in particular has done some awesome videos that match his song brilliantly. Takes his music to another level. If Bowie started when YouTube did we'd have amazing videos. I prefer listening to Elvis live, only way we can! Elvis was an entertainer on a different level. EDIT: Elvis videos of him live.
The Madonna video was interesting, them kids who climb buildings and leap from one building to another. Unless I was dreaming... I'll check YouTube Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I think there are music lovers who simply enjoy getting a smile from music without thinking about, in fact to make them think less relax, music at parties, I've danced and enjoyed listening to some shit, but it was perfect while intoxicated. Some people look for meaning in music, especially rap. Do you look for meaning in a song?
Brilliant. Perfect song for this point in history. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Uh. Depends on my mood. If I were conscripted to fight for my country in WWII, that would affect my mood. If the artist wanted to convey something, it's up for them to do it.
Well, my right leg enjoyed the O'Keefe and Williamson songs, and I like them too Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Elvis Aaron Presley. I was addicted to an Elvis Documentary about 25 years ago. Can't remember the name of it... there has been many. I sometimes do karaoke and the song is "The Wonder of You" every time. I think I might of done In the Ghetto once. I could manage King Creole I think.
Yep, and it's hard to understand sometimes, or it might mean something later. I didn't get the Libertines for years, one year I listened to it 10 year or so later, it clicked. Their first album is in my top five albums ever. Second album brilliant, genius lyrics if you get into them. They split after their second album. Despite the saying "a leopard never changes it's spots", people do change.
