If you thought it was a rant - you won't understand the point.

    https://www.c-span.org/video/?47246...ve-ted-yoho-r-fl-discusses-us-china-relations

    7 minutes in

what it seems is he is trying to blame china
    blame AOC
and blame everyone else for the terrible state of florida

now he is playing the "just following orders" type of sock puppetry
    his words are disconnected
he is inserting ideas that he has been told to say with no connection between what he is saying

    he is simply parroting ideology
probably desperate to avoid people realizing he is to blame for the terrible state of floridas health system and lack of local government systems

what a shameful display to launch a sexist personal vitriolic attack co-ordinating with media to try and make AOC a target for his crazed followers

    disgusting behaviour

and he is trying to tell china what to do
when he is acting like a monster toward AOC in public

    orchestrated
    carried out
a planned personal coordinated attack on AOC

what else has he planned ?
i would be asking the FBI to find out

the only person Yoho should be stalking & crouching in the bushes to meet
while his employees & citizens drop dead like flies from covid 19
is Andrew Cuomo and he should be holding roses & chocolates begging Andrew for advice on how to deal with the catastrophe that he is supposed to be managing in his own state.

quite clearly he has come off the rails & is unable to do his job

First the "argument" part disappeared from your posts. Then the declarative statement (replaced by innuendo). Then the complete thought. Now we are supposed to finish your sentences for you?

Ok, here's what you became baffled trying to type:
"Well then I don't understand the point."

The immediate question would be whether you want to understand the point. Often you don't, these days.
But I doubt you can answer that one.

So turning to secondary matters: Do you guys have a clue, hint, idea, notion, anything, of why you and the rest of the Yohos of this world don't understand such obvious points made in such plain terms by people like AOC?

Well, if the modern and empowered woman can't stand the heat...

. . . then they put out the fire.

There are a lot of entitled white men who hate what she represents - the next generation of women who will not kowtow to them. I enjoy watching them fume and whine.

AOC has been shrugging off "the heat" (as drunks and adolescents try to dignify their behavior) for years. That was an example of how.
But your post answers the question posed here:
    The answer is "no".
Like the many abusive bums AOC has kicked out of bars in her day, you and Yoho don't know what happened in there. All you know is the curb is hard, your ass is sore, and all kinds of people are treating you with amused contempt for some reason.

It’s not the “heat” that we can’t stand, it’s the misogyny, which has no place in politics. (or anywhere)

    misogyny
to many male cultures is just another tool to get rid of the intellectual competition

if you can divide your competition in half and get half discredited, simply because they dont have a penis
thats a win for a large amount of people with those morals

the sad fact is that type of morality normalises the predatory culture on women & those weaker than them physically
this normalizes the male archetype as a predator in their culture and thus how they raise their little girls and little boys

the little girl is raised to be bait & prey
the little boy is raised to be a psychopath hunter

    "lazy parenting"

notice the fear of such males toward homosexual men
fear of the male predator preying on them

this is what Yoho was doing
he was actively predating on AOC
he wanted to set her up to be filmed as a prey animal showing fear when she exited to the media vultures(or he was and likely still is having a mental break down)

any company CEO would have been resigned by their company by the time they got home that day
with an offer for them to make a public statement about them deciding to do the right thing & follow a different career path
and/or a public apology announcing they have been having issues and will be removing themselves to seek professional help
or they would be silently unceremoniously removed and locked out of the office
with a call from a lawyer telling them if they wish to keep their retirement fund and insurances then they need to do the right thing.

and ... that call would be from his own lawyer
    telling him
    they had
    1. with-straining order
    2. a company trespass order
    3. corporate with-straining order
    4. a legal advisory note suggesting they need to explain why they wont be suing him
    5. a pending police complaint for breach of the peace & or threatening behavior

all sitting on their desk waiting for him to choose to resign or fight them all in court

    No, that's called whining.

Ah, identity politics as excuse for whining. It was not what she represents, as a woman or minority, it was what she actually said. You know, the "content of her character", claiming people murder for food. And her literally whining about him being "rude".

Demanding that the long history of insult and mud slinging in politics change simply because sensitive women are more involved is infantilizing those supposedly empowered women. You can't have it both ways. Either you're empowered enough to take what any man might have to deal with, in adversarial politics, or you're whining. No one is entitled to not face any push back.

So, do you think Yoho calls his male peers “bitch?”

Men do call other men "bitch". It's an especially demeaning insult, for the very reason that it has been typically female gendered. "Bastard" is the typical gendered counterpart to "bitch", but there are many more, like "dick", "prick", etc., that are typically male gendered insults. So yes, I do presume Yoho has used a similarly gendered insult toward male peers, and even possibly "bitch" too. And any Democrat whining about others being "rude" after calling their peers "Nazi", "fascist", "racist", etc., is just blatantly hypocritical. Speaking of:

Calling people "fucking bitches" when you get handled by them is called whining, where I come from. It's something punks do. But then I mostly work with grownups - ymmv.
It's what some whiny little punk named "Yoho" said, that's on the table.
Looks to me like Yoho got taken pretty easily - by a freshman rep who clearly had no problem dealing with him and his tantrums.
AOC is a "sensitive woman" ? You guys really have no clue at all, do ya.

AOC has handled hundreds, if not thousands, of guys like you and Yoho losing control of their shit and throwing tantrums on her jobsite. It's routine, for her - it's been part of every job she's ever had. That's how she gained the dignity, poise, and calm public competence that Yoho so obviously and unfortunately lacks.

And not just her, and not even just women: The long history of infantile whining and bitching by guys like Yoho has not made the rest of the world "sensitive" - just fed up. We're tired of this childish bullshit. Is there some way to get these guys to take their mommy issues elsewhere, so the adults can get some work done?

It’s wrong when anyone does it. I think we need to start raising the bar, expecting better conduct from all politicians. You don’t talk to your female colleagues that way, do you? Imagine if you did? You’d likely be fired but it’s just business as usual in the government.
