    i knew a guy for some 25 years(best friend)
    he has schizophrenia
the schizophrenia disrupted his ability to connect some aspects in his mind
even though he could kinda see it making sense in another part

    fascinating
very bright, but the schizophrenia was sitting there for years un diagnosed like a sea anchor around parts of his mind and a drag racer into a brick wall in other aspects(mania kinda ocd stuff)
    very genuine friendly & intelligent
but as time goes on and stress comes in
the mental illness starts to take a stronger hold as it sinks its claws in
that's where regular medication allows the claws to not dig in so deeply to steer the mind off a cliff or into a brick wall.

usa society have no mental health system
    it doesn't make profit
    so it doesn't exist
in-spite of usa psychologists & psychiatrists attempting to build one.

"where is my Black Guy" ?

    here he is

    https://edition.cnn.com/2020/07/30/politics/herman-cain-dies-coronavirus/index.html
mixed messages about the removal of the 2nd amendment may be all fun & games
but mixed messages about the global pandemic appears to be costing thousands of lives in many countrys.
    hundreds of deaths every day

i wonder if the conspiracy theorists believe nuclear weapons are real or a hoax perpetrated by nasa to sell pens that you can write with underwater
(it all seems a bit effen nuts)

It is sad, regardless of political persuasion etc, that he, like so many others around the world, was not able to apply the little bit of critical thought that could have saved his and so many other peoples lives, future livelihoods and life styles.
Too easily swayed by popular opinion, presidential negligence and the pull of a leaking wallet. A wallet that will continue to leak/empty until people realise what it is going to take to repair the damn thing...
Perhaps his death will be instrumental in Trump being stood aside or standing aside to allow those with better skills and characters, to help guide the USA into a better place. But then again perhaps not... not yet anyhow..

According to live media reports the USA markets are definitely reacting negatively to Trumps repeating his unfounded politically motivated conspiracy theory concerning voter mail fraud in the upcoming election with the view to persuading it's postponement due to COVID concerns that haven't stopped him from pushing to reopen and reduce quarantine provisions.
If ti is safe to reopen the economy then it is safe to hold an election yes?
I tend to think that the USA citizenry are staring to realise the scale of Trumps ...uhm... God complex...

An interesting phrase has appeared in the media today:
USA Pandemic = "Republican Pandemic..." due to the disproportionate numbers or cases and deaths involving republican governed states...

One of the factors is the confusion and ineptitude of data collection and compilation in the US. Between the universal under-reporting of covid deaths, the refusal to count auxiliary deaths (from damage to the care delivery system, drug shortages, etc), the State by State and even hospital by hospital inconsistencies in data collection, the emergence of apparently serious long term or long delayed injury from the infection, and the political pressure to downplay the disease and its effects, it's beginning to look like we will have to wait for the historians's forensics to get an accurate read on how many people in the US were killed by this virus in the first wave.

One of the keys there will be how badly the Republicans screw up the census.

Disagreeing doesn't prove anything. And people simply agreeing that they disagree with me is a fallacious argument that their opinion is valid. I get that you really, strongly, and seriously feel that you have debunked something, but you obviously lack the intellectual rigor to grasp the difference between debunking and merely disagreeing.

And that something must come across, to you, as an original argument smacks of genetic fallacy. If I similarly dismissed, out of hand, any leftist talking point you parroted, I'd have nothing left to respond to. Again, the real world doesn't allow conservatives to avoid leftist/Democrat opinion/agenda, whereas the ubiquity of leftist/Democrat bias in all media and entertainment does allow for a leftist bubble. You being unaware of that fact is a clear indicator of you being the bubble-dweller, where you need only avoid a few (one?) media sources with the reach to even blip your radar.

In politics, the left has no sense of humor. Hence the right being better at memes and the left desperately trying to dox memers and censor conservatives online.

Not really a laughing matter, but when you couple his God complex, with his lying through his teeth complex, and his many other "qualities" like gun toting red neckery, womanising and stupidity, then I must ask again, how the hell did this fucking fool ever get elected.

And there we have a fallaciously inspired, vociferously fabricated, knee jerk rejection of fact.

Deaths per million of population is still overwhelmingly higher in Democrat states.

    but how do you know?
The Republican states have a disproportionate amount of statistical manipulation, deception, lying and delusion...as demonstrated by their leader Trump. ( the master of self deception)
    so how can you know?
How good can a liar discern a lie?

But if you want to dismiss all statistics just over claims of manipulation, your claim of "disproportionate numbers or cases and deaths involving republican governed states" is equally dismissed. Not that I expect any intellectual honesty from you.

In my immediate suburban region (population 300k) we have 118 confirmed cases, currently in level 3 lock down and about to go to level 4.
Mask wearing is observably about 99% and laws to detain those who refuse to wear masks in some form of isolation ( 14 days) are being discussed.

lol sounds a bit like Trumps postulating about the upcoming election doesn't it?

either way, the phrase or label "Republican Pandemic" will probably stick because it leans towards the truth that Trumps leadership or lack there of, has inspired Republican states to underestimate their predicament.

As I suggested (in the other thread ) immediately after Trumps inauguration where he lied under oath, Trump will most likely be the cause for the destruction of his own party. Validated by a massive change in Congress and the obvious loss of objectivity in the senate.

    no
youknowhwo is untouchable in such ways
ive said that rarely but consistently
there are some things that just are
i dont understand us politics how it works with the house & senate
i thought it would be very partisan but from the odd news paper article i see that everyones friends and children all work for each other and they all swap camps depending on which way the wind blows, then claim everything is about some moral concept
and something else and blah blah blah

it confuses me slightly that USA moral heart & values does not wish want or desire to make universal health care a core family value morality.

but ... such is the confusing nature of complex human layers of stuff

equally i am somewhat bemused with the USA culture to turn mass shootings into family movie entertainment and the adoration for serial killers.

but when i think of the people like a 14 year old child fascinated with blood gore sex & hurting people and stealing things and arguing about being righteous in selfish indignation etc etc
it all seems to fit quite nicely

    14yo wants the gun
    wants the car
wants the sex(not to have sex but is fascinated with sex, the projected concept of 14yos being hot n horny for it is a projected emotional illness created by their environment)
would 14yo's be at it like rabbits in the fields if teachers did not stop them at school ?
    i doubt it

but 1 thing early teens are good at is spreading germs
    and
doing the opposite of what is practical and logical
you could almost say the teenage brain is hard wired to do the opposite of logical and practical(via hormonal[& sexual] & emotional & psychological & social development)
(dear moms n dads of 14 yo girls dressing up in short skirts and trying to get boys to notice them... lol you asked for it serves you right

Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

, thats not sex, thats development on many different levels simultaneously)

but that 14 yo boy your daughter is kinda noticing ...
    and you thinking
god ! please let him be normal
    that 14yo boy(psycho/sexual/emotional development stage)
is running the world and the country, that is the average social consciousness level of intellect

    its not really virus related
    but yes
more so with the other republican governors/senators saying their core majority voters vote by mail
its like watching the school boy bully roll the bag of candy under the school bus and grin at everyone

the mixed messages about that core issue will loosen his core support among moderate republican elected officials whom rely on mail votes to hold their huge aristocratic working class tax payer funded salary's

an official commented yesterday that has declared the reality of what will happen

civil war didnt stop the elections
    covid19 wont

but youknowwho commented saying he doesn't want to be waiting months for re counts because of fraudulent votes
reality is marginal seats requiring re counts which decide the countrys CEO
    by a tiny margin
    swinging back n forth

im sure the country will run along perfectly ok without a president sitting there
    though
that will be a spray can of fluorescent paint outlining the words "autocracy" which then invalidates strangle holds of power conceptually

i was expecting to see youknowwho do a near complete U turn on basic principals and start man-hugging the likes of flossy

i dont see any way for the hospitals to cope when next flu season hits without a strong lock-down process being started again as soon as possible to pull the massive spread of infection

the other note flossy made was the age change of those dying
    has dropped by 10 years
    this is either
    significant, or a serious concern
    either way
these type of things should be the news headlines, not what kim cardigan cash me in is spending her money on some gucci plastic chinese usa branded what-eva

this mail vote issue may swing toward biden if youknowwho keeps talking tin foil hat stuff about it
while it may not be enough to swing those hard liner right seat votes, it may be enough to swing the swingers toward independents to just knock the tiny fraction off the top that is needed to win

    anywho
they dont pay me to give them advice
and they are all richer than i could ever imagine
    rich peoples problems

why do you think yoho made a public set up to attack aoc and try and paint cross hairs for the crazies on her
because his state where he should be doing his actual job is effectively in a state of need for marshal law
but he is the do nothing boss
he just wants the money and the power and to not do anything

Florida is going to be decimated since their leaders are effectively doing nothing and spending the voters money on hi flyer jet life life styles while playing hide in the bushes stalking the hot girl to slut shame her to the other kids
he should in the front lines leading as he chose to do as a job
    but he is not
    missing in action
    deserter
    ran away from the battle
    ...

perfect storm for boat loads of refugees to start turning up on the florida coast with all sorts of diseases

    rich peoples problems

rich people are being paid millions of working class tax payer money to give stupid advice to make rich people look good.

    Rich peoples problems

    better late than never
but policing of the rules needs to be stepped up to comply or be complied
all those in aussie defying the rules are setting fire to piles of all the other Aussies cash(mortgages jobs schools hospitals)
    and dancing around it laughing
they need to be taught the consequences & quickly & publicly

    SOoo . . . ...

from my general take on the few scientists i have chatted with
they are not the type that want to fake science
so it goes to logic assumption that those working on a vaccine believe they are actually working on a vaccine that works

    a vaccination every ? ... 5 months ?
    (
just a rough guess based on probable adverse reactions and need to adjust for the bodys ability to cope etc)

that's 2 vaccinations per yer per person
plus 1 flu vaccination, maybe 2
