This ain't the first time that you've been wrong:
    ahem
China has the worlds largest navy
China has the worlds largest army
followed by India and then the USA

    ..............................
    and
If the USA has a strong nuclear force
    does this follow?
The Strong Nuclear Force is an attractive force between protons and neutrons that keep the nucleus together

You want real crazy in this election, this is it...

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s win in a Georgia House race means that QAnon is headed to Capitol Hill.

Greene openly supports the complex, outlandish conspiracy theory, which posits that President Trump is waging a secret war against a shadowy group of elites who engage in child sex trafficking, among other far-fetched claims. The FBI identified QAnon as a potential inspiration for “conspiracy theory-driven domestic extremists” last year.

There should be no reason in 2020, that votes need to be human-counted. Too much room for "error".

You seem to have trouble all the time with voting machines in the US, though.

In Britain, we make a cross against the candidate's name with a pencil on a piece of paper and the bits of paper are counted by people. And we have a result within 24hrs. It will always take longer in the US, due to the time zones, but I don't really see why it needs to be very complicated.

There is even more room for "error" if this is done electronically.

Except when you make the whole software, and additionally the whole data necessary to check the correctness of the data, public domain.

Whether done by humans or machines, the US should have a result in 24 hours just like your system. But the US has governors who do as they wish and some follow rules and some don’t. Look at the chaos when merely enforcing masks during Covid. Some were on board, some weren’t. So, we got problems over here!

Federal elections should be handled by the Federal government, not by individual states. That's is stupid. No consistency anywhere.

Because no independent forces will be able to check that the results are correct.

So, we let the Trump administration handle the election? You've heard the saying, "The fox guarding the hen house"?

    Ah! That makes sense.

So instead we are going to let 50 governors handle their state and federal elections?

There should be an independent election commission which sets universal standards and the Federal government installs the voting machines and/or procedures. The votes are counted by independent contractors who have no stake in the outcomes.

Well I do understand it's a federal system and that individual states have traditionally had their own rules, but one might think that perhaps for the presidential election a harmonised procedure could be agreed.

GIGO + system malfunction + $ incentivized contractors + sabotage + juvenile hackers + black ops + foreign interference

The whole system is seriously fucked in a dozen different ways; adding cyber-fraud makes hardly any difference.

Yes, that would be nice. I think the “Founding Fathers” thought they were doing the right thing by giving authority to states in federal elections. Obviously, they were wrong!
