Paul set an example of divine encounter, we can hope for that.
Moses also saw the backside of God.
And Job also heard God talking to him.
Let God send an angel to me so that I can believe,

How did Paul set the example?
Moses believed in God, and Job was totally devoted to God. Do much do that even when he lost everything. including his health. He marvel at wavered.
And here you making demands of God.

Jesus said we can ask in his name and he will ask Father to grant us.
When we ask for something Jesus will give it to us something much better than we had asked for.
    Luke:11
11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Let God give us whatever we ask, and make it even better than what we ask.

Do you think it would be right of God to give us anything we ask for, even to the detriment of our souls?

A sound mind will ask for good things, reasonable things.

Those would be the ones mounted on invisible purple dancing dragons, who breathe invisible heatless fire, I guess.

Half of them breathe searing fire, and the other half breathe numbingly cold frost blasts, so they cancel out. I mean, duh.

Well, Jesus never said for you to pray to him. That is out of the formula you put over the table.

He is no God, Jesus is his son... OK, in order for you to understand this part, Jesus is not Doctor Evil, Jesus is Mini me.

Most churches today are spiritually dead.
    No meaning.
    Do not teach good teaching.
    Misuse offering money.
Do nothing good to own members nor the society.

You are changing the topic, which is about Jesus, not so the churches.

Jesus was a wise man when on earth, and it's hard to find others like him. Mostly people are smart, but being wise is a way more higher level.

Your perception of what Jesus said might be a kind of confusion, because you might not understand well the religion itself, which is in reality not hard to be comprehended, unless the fixed ideas inside your brain are impeding you to see what those readings means.

I study religion rather than following it, and I guess if you don't believe in the biblical religion, then rather than criticizing it negatively because your own confusion, you better study it first and later bring here what you think of it, but with a better foundation.

No.... I am of the belief that prayers can also be answered after we die and pass on into higher invisible dimensions of space and time.

Near death experiencer Howard Storm asked during his NDE why the Holocaust had been allowed to occur and he got this reply:

So... if what Howard Storm was shown was true then many of the prayers of the victims of the Holocaust were answered within seconds of their deaths and their graduation to a higher plane of existence.
