An extremely nice and diplomatic moderator on a Richard Dawkins support forum several years ago told me that my idea of God in a sense evolving or learning over infinite time in the past was a legitimate branch of Atheism.

Was this nice and diplomatic forum administrator correct...... according to your understanding of the word "Atheist?"

Most Christian Theologians could testify that my ideas on the distant past are certainly no part of "Orthodox Christianity."

I got into this and related topics so often that I wrote up a blog to save myself some time in explaining virtually the same material over and over and over again. You can view my blog by clicking on my profile page under the link "Information" or

This may sound like a rather strange idea to you........
but I really liked how Richard Dawkins Ph. D. dealt with the questions from Mr. Ben Stein in this interview.

To a degree.... I would say that an Agnostic or Atheist who takes the idea of extraterrestrial life seriously........
has some major intellectual or philosophical advantages over a Theist..... who
dogmatically rules out the existence of life on any other planet in the universe.

On the other hand.... I do believe that Richard Dawkins Ph. D. could write another book related to
evidence for Intelligence beginning in fundamental or nearly fundamental energy.......
in higher invisible dimensions of space and time as postulated in String Theory.......
and I believe he would sell more copies of that proposed book than any of his other books.......

(I do have "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins Ph .D., but I haven't gotten into it yet. I picked it up at a used book store a few weeks ago).

Do you believe in God? (or the idea that God may exist?) If so, you’re not an atheist. You could be agnostic in your views but an atheist simply doesn’t believe in the existence of God. (definition in its broadest sense is: absence of belief in a deity or deities)

The opposite of atheism isn’t necessarily “religion,”though. You may not accept any one religion as truth, but believe in God. I was an atheist for a few years - it was really more of an indifference towards even the concept of God/spirituality. But, I’m now a believer and accept/follow Jesus’ teachings.

In other words, you need to search your own mind for what you believe. I’m not sure anyone here (not knowing you, really) can do that for you.

Since you have - numerous times - indicated a belief in "god" then you are, by definition a theist.

Just to be picky: I am an agnostic atheist, I lack belief that a deity exists. But I am entirely comfortable with the idea that God may exist. It is my agnosticism that makes me consider it a non-zero possibility. So if someone believes that God may exist, they may well be an atheist, especially if the "may" is an indication that they don't hold the belief that God does exist.
I'd also be careful about this blanket response, in that it does depend somewhat on one's view of "God". If one simply uses it to describe nature, or the universe, with no more baggage attached to the word than that, then I'd say they are atheistic (but it does beg the question of why they use the term "god" when other words, with less assumed baggage, exist).

I do believe in a SuperIntelligence so great that that Intelligence could resurrect all humans who were alive as of March 27, 1939..... without them even knowing that they have just been recreated / resurrected..... and then a new time line could be spun off in which The Holocaust was either greatly decreased in intensity..... or perhaps even stopped...... perhaps by taking technology from the year 2100 back into that newly created version of 1939?

I do believe that Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus of Christian thought fulfilled the role of Messiah the Passover Lamb.

That is what I would tend to think as well......
I have wondered if that Moderator from that forum was perhaps being somewhat too diplomatic.... perhaps somewhat too nice and inclusive?????

My defining myself as a Theist......
    or even as a Christian.....
would not stop a high percentage of Orthodox Christian Theologians from thinking that I am some variation of a "heretic" and thus..... non-Christian... by their definition of the terms.

Many Theologians define "God" as being incapable of "evolving" or "learning" in terms of any definition of those terms that they may accept?

so you dont get out much & mix with different types of cultures
(or you present yourself as the same religious fence sitter as all social contact)

    I'm curious. What's so special about March 27, 1939?

Couldn't your SuperIntelligence resurrect all humans from any time at all?
Do you think that the SuperIntelligence has already done that? Or will do so in the future? Or just that it could do it, if it chose?

And why do you think this?
    Why?

    Good questions.

A pastor Rick Joyner had an unusual series of dreams back in 1994 and 1995 that remind me in many ways of
the Life Review of NDE accounts.

Yes.... he made statements that indicate that Messiah Yeshua - Jesus in the form that He is in now could indeed resurrect all humans from any and
all time periods..... any time at all....... but I do believe that there is some sort of logic in the how's and the when's in which these fulfillments of
Ezekiel chapter thirty seven, Revelation chapter twenty and Romans nine, ten and eleven actually take place.

I am of the believe that we are likely living in an example of Applied Multiverse Theory that in many ways is shockingly better than some other
likely time lines that have been indicated in what was shown to other near death experiencers.

I chose 1939 because it is just before the events of The Holocaust that near death experiencer Howard Storm was shown quite about when viewed from the perspective of the higher invisible dimensions.

I chose March 27 because it is Passover in 2021.....
and it is interesting that the NDE of Rabbi Alon Anava took place on Passover 2001. I listened to his account a few days ago.....
because what he experienced reminds me of Matthew chapter five... and his conclusions after his NDE remind me of
Matthew chapters five, six and seven, The Sermon on the Mount, (but Rabbi Alon Anava did NOT meet Jesus and is Orthodox Jewish)!

Back during the 1990's I read the NDE account of Dannion Brinkley, (who incidentally terms himself an Atheist in spite of his believing firmly in
intelligence continuing on in the higher energetic but invisible dimensions). Dannion Brinkley was shown a working out of "the Mark of the Beast"
and basically events from around the year 2000 that are different than what you and I lived through.......
which to my thinking implies our Creator as a Scientist composed of fundamental energy who is capable of creating a new time line that is
a massive improvement over previous time lines???????

But I admit it..... I am biased!

If you scroll down to the Boxes of Knowledge you can read all of the predictions that Dannion was shown......

So..... I believe that because Dannion Brinkley invested twenty five years of going all over America and the world telling people a rather simple message.....
he assisted to inspire people to have a higher level of hope... and we made better decisions.... and a significantly better time line seems to have been
put into motion as was explained quite well in this article:

    https://www.near-death.com/science/research/future.html#a03

I am of the belief that there is off the scale power in our freedom of choice.......
and when we die and see how our choices may have produced vastly better time lines.....
then we will better understand the concepts of both power and responsibility.....
that is being taught to us by a Brilliant Educator who I believe... is composed of fundamental energy.....
and has gotten better and better and better at creation.....
and setting in motion new time lines!

    In a paragraph....
this is one of the major goals of multiple time lines.....
of Applied Multiverse Theory...... applied by a Inventor of multiple dimensions of space and time
that can be compared with vehicles......
designed to take spirits / souls from point A to point B to point C and on and on and on.

Yes... Helen Wambach Ph. D. wrote three books that I read two of during the 1990....
but her third book along with Dr. Chet Snow implies the possibility of multiple time lines.......
that I believe can be learned from and avoided.

In our time line some of the possible disasters that may have occurred in another time line........that may have began in 1998 or 2012 in that possible time line ... have been at the minimum delayed in our time line??????

Here is a summary of Helen Wambach Ph. D's first two books. The fact that her volunteers were over sixty percent women but the number of past lives as women over the past four millennia was fifty percent.... rather impressed me:

What Howard Storm was shown about the events behind the scenes during The Holocaust remind me of
what was shown to three time near death experiencer Dr. P. M. H. Atwater about what went on in invisible dimensions of space and time
in the aftermath of the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.

The level at which the accounts of near death experiencers seem to correspond with each other has impressed me a lot.

I am a Christian who believes rather firmly in reincarnation ..... and eventual Universal Salvation... so although I really do enjoy my wife's churches that she attends....
I don't expect to find a church that is on the same page as I am on on most topics.

I'm not really sure where you're coming from.
Are you saying because of your idea that God evolved, then some Christians would not call you a Theist?
Does it matter to you that you don't belong to a group? Must you belong to a group or even form your own group to believe like you?
What's compelling you to tack-on religion to these NDE things?
    Maybe I'm misreading you.

    Those are good questions.....
I do somewhat miss being part of a church since 1991 but... I really do enjoy fellowshipping with my wife's
    Pentecostal friends.

I find that reading NDE accounts and updating my understanding of the Jewish and Christian scriptures in the light of what has been
revealed by NDE accounts that is in language that is very easy to understand, makes it fairly easy to fellowship with a wide range of people all across the philosophical spectrum.

Many near death experiencers do not "tack-on religion" to their out of the body experience.....
    but some do.

For example near death experiencer Dr. Eben Alexander doesn't seem likely to go out seeking a church.....
but he sure is a firm believer that our consciousness continues on after we die.
