I listened to the following song over and over and over again on a record player hundreds of times from the time that I was five, six, seven, eight or nine years of age.

Now you know why I ended up kind of argumentative and somewhat rebellious.

    The Clancys-Kevin Barry

I don't understand this thread's connection to near-death-experiences, ghosts or religion.

How long do we have to wait for that other shoe to drop?

Never knew it was Little Richard but this was one of the first tunes I listened to.

We even sent it in as a request to the local radio station as a poor joke on my sister's birthday.

    Kevin Barry
    Clancey Brothers
In Mountjoy jail one Monday morning
    High upon the gallows tree
Kevin Barry gave his young life
    For the cause of liberty
But a lad of eighteen summers
Yet no true man can deny
As he walked to death that morning
He proudly held his head on high
    Another martyr for old Erin
    Another murder for the crown
The British laws may crush the Irish
But cannot keep their spirits down
Just before he faced the hangman
    In his dreary prison cell
    The British soldiers tortured Barry
Just because he would not tell
The names of all his brave companions
And other things they wished to know
Turn informer or we'll kill you
    Kevin Barry answered no
    Another martyr for old Erin
    Another murder for the crown
The British laws may crush the Irish
But cannot keep their spirits down

"Kevin Barry" is a popular Irish rebel song recounting the death of Kevin Barry, a member of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) who was hanged on 1 November 1920. He was 18 years old at the time. He is one of a group of IRA members executed in 1920–21 collectively known as The Forgotten Ten.

what has that got to do with trump, Israel & the philistinians ?

    "the forgotten 10"

and your trying to link this to trump and Israel via what ?
    British Columbia ?
but i thought the french took over the northern lands of canada ?
and took them over off the British
which makes them liberators of colonialism ?

    your guy, Trump
    Israel & the Zionists
    Prophecy's of the Jewish bible
    War
    ...

how does that fit in with the IRA
    Catholics
    protestants
Jewish imperialist settlers taking palistinian homes
and a looming militarization occupation of yet another urban population by a military super power

if your watching non stop news about the Jewish occupation of palistine then no wonder your head is spinning

watching all that suffering non stop does funny things to your head
some of which cant be reversed, assuming you survive

i was raised on a varied diet of classical, folk, opera, mainstream radio & frequently live listening to non professional orchestras while being encouraged to play musical instruments while mixing with amateur(hard working professionals who did theater in the private time) theater performers.

what do they call those emotional attachment songs ?
    emotional monikers ?

This brilliant song by Mr. Kevin Barry came to him in a NDE. How else would he would up with the insightful lyrics "The British Laws may crush the Irish but they cannot keep their spirits down"?

I have a brilliant idea about eliminating interest rates as it relates to the U.S. and Canadian Central Banks if you would like to hear it?

The only song I have on my phone is Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner. I heard it in a bar once back in the seventies and I remembered almost all of the words. Then, a decade or two later, I found it on cassette in the bargain bin at Zellers. That was when I first found out that it was by Warren Zevon (possibly best known for Werewolves of London).
