Under Stalin 3.9 million Ukrainians starved to death because he wanted Ukraine to be part of Russia. It looks like Putin has a similar goal. It is time Russian army get rid of Putin and stop this war. If they don't they may regret having Stalin II.

I wonder how popular Stalin is in today's Russia.

There is little hope of Putin being removed from power unless he is first defeated on the Ukranian field of war.

But if his gains are seen to be not worth the price the Russian people has to pay then perhaps the perception that Putin is pulling them back down to that period of their history could undermine his support

Vox pops on the BBC (in so far as they can be believed in what passes for a police state) seem to show strong support for this war but defeat or poor return for effort may hopefully turn that on its head(in any case the support may be overstated if people are fearful of the consequences of speaking out of turn)

im sure it is because it is a state run company seeking to make money from being the state approved company

real support is probably around 60%
