I recently read an interesting news story about an experiment using a clock with variable accuracy. The results show that increasing the accuracy increases the entropy of the clock's environment. Which of course speaks directly to information entropy, and the transmission of "accurate" information.
The source of inaccurate clock information isn't the important thing, IMO. What's important is what it says about information more generally, clock information specifically. But what does it say--the experiment?
