Besides the fact that the website is www.unexplained.net, and the previous comments about the articles, these first seven words really did it for my BS/w00-w00 detector.

i actually took the time to read the whole thing.
it made me want to go to bed.
so i did.

Surely, there is an 'is' missing from the sentence, and what 'ours' is 170 years old? Our Intelligence? Our Technology? Because they are the only aforementioned items, that 'ours' can refer to. This loon can't even string a sentence together.
