Im looking to get so diff ides about it. yumyum 08-19-02, 05:02 PM sorry for the miss spell Atilla 08-22-02, 09:41 AM I've read most of the Portable Neitzsche, thought it was ok, I believe he has some issues though. Like most philosophers, try reading Machiavelli next, one colors your interpretaion of the other, so be careful... No matter where you go, there you are.:D yumyum 08-22-02, 04:20 PM thats funny Machiavelli was the next person i was going to read Atilla 08-26-02, 07:57 AM IF you just read Neitchze's "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" and then follow it up with "The Prince" by Machiavelli. the two philosophies together make for a very interesting outlook on life. I personally havent taken to heart, but it has definatley altered my perspective. When you done reading them, you might try writing some of your own, I found it very enlightening. Futurist 09-29-02, 10:41 AM he is crazy. Xev 09-30-02, 10:32 PM *Laughs* come and follow Jesus to heaven. Does anyone else notice the double-entendre of "come" and "heaven", or is my mind further down in the gutter today? static76 10-01-02, 12:01 AM Originally posted by EvilPoet Futurist: I have a question ... The weatherman urges everyone to get out of town. The priest says "I won't worry, God will save me". The morning of the storm, the police go through the neighborhood with a sound truck telling everyone to evacuate. The priest says "I won't worry, God will save me". The storm drains back up and there is an inch of water standing in the street. A fire truck comes by to pick up the priest. He tells them "Don't worry, God will save me." The water rises another foot. A national guard truck comes by to rescue the priest. He tells them "Don't worry, God will save me." The water rises some more. The priest is forced up to his roof. A boat comes by to rescue the priest. He tells them "Don't worry, God will save me." The water rises higher. The priest is forced up to the very top of his roof. A helicopter comes to rescue the priest. He shouts up at them "Don't worry, God will save me." The water rises above his house, and the priest drowns. When he gets up to heaven he says to God "I've been your faithful servant ever since I was born! Why didn't you save me?" God replies "First I sent you a fire truck, then the national guard, then a boat, and then a helicopter. What more do you want from me!?" prozak 10-02-02, 06:53 PM Jesus sucks. I wouldn't waste your time with Machiavelli either. Or "Thus Spake Zarathustra." But "The Antichrist" or "The Birth of Tragedy" are excellent! yumyum 10-02-02, 09:26 PM hehe funny, hi everyone i havent been here in while damn linux modem is hard to find. i got a lot of reading to catch up on around here. well good day Squid Vicious 10-03-02, 08:41 AM netcomm internal modem, yumyum.
