Why can't I see what you see then? Why can't I feel what you feel?

The realization of ignorance is the beginning of knowledge.

Well, I'm glad to see you've come from one incredibly confused christian brain-washed, ridiculous mess to a far less christian confused mess. It might be decent to have a conversation with you by the time you're 35.

    Good day.

It's impossible to have a decent conversation period. The universe does not allow the exchange of information without some form of distortion. :bugeye:

Besides, I've been a Taoist as much as I have been a Christian.

cuz you believe in your person/body instead of the omnipresent universal self.

what knowledge? don't be a taoist, be yourself.

Oh wow! Nice argument. Is that it? You are not going to comment on the thread?

As I said, you proved my argument by judging me according to your limited perspective...

Summarized: Truth is subjective so I don't exist because I dont understand how subjectivity in truth can possibly mean that I exist.

This is fine insofar as the defense is that it is subjectively true that you don't exist. Which of course creates a problem, because if truth is subjective, then the self must necessarily exist, else the statement is nonsensical. Subjective truth implies that the self governs the truth, which means the self exists.

Secondly, the possibility that the impossible is all that exists in the universe also implies the possibility that the impossible is not all that exists in the universe. So the statement is likewise nonsensical. Because if it is possible for one thing to exist then it is possible for another to exist.

In essence, the entire thread is nonsensical-- subjectively speaking of course.

    What a bloody joke!

Well, not quite. Reality is subjective. That's how you perceive the objective thruth.

The whole point is that truth exists even though you cannot perceive it.

    It's called a "paradox"...

Do you know what that is? Allow me to enlighten you...

    par·a·dox ( P ) Pronunciation Key (pr-dks)
    n.
    1. A seemingly contradictory statement that may nonetheless be true: the paradox that standing is more tiring than walking.
    2. One exhibiting inexplicable or contradictory aspects: “The silence of midnight, to speak truly, though apparently a paradox, rung in my ears” (Mary Shelley).
    3. An assertion that is essentially self-contradictory, though based on a valid deduction from acceptable premises.
    4. A statement contrary to received opinion.

    WTF??
Please tell me you are joking. Are your 8000+ posts teeming with such irrelevance?
Yours is not a paradoxical situation. It is a situation that communicates no relevant meaning.

That it is a possible that everything is impossible is as relevant as suggesting that it is possible that God is an ant with a gun made of my shit who frequently injects opinions like you've espoused into the minds of the easily influenced, and the statement would be true. It is however as meaningless as yours on the nature of possibility. Everything is possible, but so what?

And, this statement: "Well, not quite. Reality is subjective. That's how you perceive the objective thruth." implies the self, so you exist.

Nothing is possible. NOTHING. That's why it's weird we exist.

Yes, I seem to exist. But the real questions are "why?" and "how?"

dunno, maybe because i've experienced it.

it's not weird, you just don't understand it. the universe is nothing. illusion.

you are existence (nothing), that's why you exist.
