Bit of a ludicrous story behind it involving a forum troll at another location calling him/her-self "ninja turtle"... best one goes no further into it, though, lest a novella come to be written...

They're all very good, but I absolutely love the third one, the Sky Line. Gorgeous.

A work in process. I thought I'd share. If you have any critique, I welcome it, but be aware I'm a novice artist, with no natural talent lol.

I just started to get more into photography. I don't own a camera though-- Im using my parent's shitty 6 year-old camera. Hopefully I'll get a camera with adjustable shutter speeds and a macro lens by mid June.

    - Here's a tip: do not learn to draw by following animé tutorials. Go sign yourself up for a nice course where you draw quick coal scetches of naked people - trust me, quick drawings of reality are the best way to learn. Also start casually doing quick scetches by clothed people you see around you.

    - I love it

Is that a carricature, or does your lecturer really have that caracteristic an appereance?

Exactly. Anime tutorials teach you how to draw anime style, not HOW to draw. Those are something you look at after you've studied or have basic knowledge and skill with human anatomy and feel the need to infuse a simplistic drawing style into your work.

Lot of budding artist make the mistake of copying anime style.

I think you may be presuming here that Crazy doesn't have this natural ability to draw already. I myself do not like the style (anime) of drawing but can see the natural talent and beauty in the colours and the use of colours. Hence 'lovely'.

The colours are pretty and all, but there is no such thing as a "natural ability to draw" - sure you can have an eye for beauty and a good mindset, but making realistic drawings is something you can only do with the right kinds of practice - and then, anyone can do it.

    what utter rubbish

I was not taught to draw as a child but I had natural ability and I know many more with this natural ability and NEVER a lesson.

That still doesn't take away the fact that Crazy is trying to walk before crawl.

Every form of simplified drawing style comes from understanding art on its very basic levels. Crazy may have a sense of certain thing but he/she yet doesn't understand the basics.

All these good anime artists, cartoonists and caricaturists can draw true life in a beautiful manner therefore helping their style of incresingly simplifying their figures and environments. Crazy is going the opposite path.

    btw, I prefer modern art.
imo, if one needs something to be realistic, then use a photo camera
