My invitation was as from the rest of the world or at least Europe, not just my small country of origin.

The U.S. military with full conscription and a complete switch to a "war time economy" could conquer Europe. Hell, the amount of WMD we have could annihilate the continent in a matter of minutes. Of course, there is that pesky problem of Mutually Assured Destruction, rather annoying actually. We'll find a way.

Wow, you really are naive. Surely you don't believe we don't have any secret detention camps for supposedly suspected terrorists? I also suppose you think the CIA doesn't do bad acts such as overthrowing democraticly elected leaders in other countries or assassinations?

Hell man, even though I say there's no proof of Iran developing nuclear weapons, I'm not stupid enough to say that they don't wish they had em!

Well that's also because we're being nicey nicey. We could obliterate Iraq in a heartbeat. There's just that thing called the international community we'd piss off by doing so.

    That too, heh.

    Fumble finger typing

You ever think that with the investigations done in Europe that have failed to find any proof of secret detention camp, that you have only 2 senairos left:

1: There are no secret camps.

2: The Eauropeans are better at security than we are.

Already forgotten that Saddam was killing his own people and Iranian people with American support?

A first rate case of denial.

And you wonder why you are a prime target for terrorists with this attitude?

So basically you have added nothing to the discussion at all then to portray the Americans as as arrogant people not interested in anything at all but their own interests.

America as the pinacle of civilization and freedom? No, america as the pinacle of terror to the world and selfishness. The barbarians of the 21st century.

A Military Court is a regular constituted court, a terroist with no uniform or recognizable uniform is not required to be tried in a civilian court in our country, their are not citizens and haveing been captured on the battle field belong in the spier of military jurisdiction, the have no civil right to trial in a criminal court because they comitted their crimes against the Geneva Convention on the battle field and do not follow any convention of legal combat, they take hostages, and kill them, they take no POW they kill any wounded on the battle field, they target civilian on purpose, they allow no inspection of their detention faculities, and they do not punish their own for breaking the these laws, the one thing that you can't deny is that US troops have been punished and sent to prision for missdeads in handling detainies in our custody.

Avatar, not only your small country,Poland, East Germany, Hungary, Czechoslovika, Bulguria, Bosnia, the Soviets ocupied your countries and with out the pressure of the US that made the Soviets fall you would still be in the same fix. If the US is such a bad country, why have most of the WARSAW PACT JOINED NATO, a US sponsered and dominated originazition.

Actually I liked the fix. Then more than now the land belonged to the people. Now it belongs only to those who have money.
Then I could go and hike wherever I wanted, now it's all fences and private property.
    Hope this country turns socialist.

The NATO is not the US.

Of course it isn't, it's an international security organisation, and mutual security is the reason why those countries joined, because there was no more USSR to protect them.

Actually, it does. The people doing this torture have been doing it for years, doing scientific experiements to see what works and what doesn't. They have some of the most advanced psychological knowledge in the world. They know how to tell when you're lying and when you aren't; It's extremely hard to hide little tics that give you away when you're under that kind of stress.

People ALWAYS break under torture. What you see on 24 about the detainee who they just can't crack for the valuable information he knows is a myth. When you are deprived of every ounce of physical free will, you no longer have the ability to maintain free will of your mind. It's just the way we're put together.
