I'm a fanhome moderator so if you really bothered any mods much at fanhome I'd have read all about your bannings on the moderator forums... but it's more likely that it took John F a half-second to ban you and they were done with it, and forgot you existed 10 seconds later. It's too bad they aren't smart enough to ban you here, but that's the admin's problem. Anyway, on the thread subject, I've never had to try it... but polite honesty seems to me like the only way to go. Make the lack of interest clear without being insulting... somehow.

Ah, yes, I remember the ER1N name. Don't remember most of the other names. If I remember right you were a Yankees fan... that would figure, it's almost as low as being a Red Sox fan. Sorry, if you thought it'd get you remembered long-term that's not very likely. For BBQs I stick to the baseball bbq (which I moderate), so you never bothered me anyway. Anyhow you won't be remembered here or fanhome for very long... trolls aren't all that rare, and they all look the same, so they don't get remembered.
