I saw Hannibal too, yes. Awsome movie. If I remember it well, I was high at the time.

As for Music: Pink Floyd does it always good, high or not high. At the moment David Bowie is on the radio and he sounds as good as always.

For some people, drugs are an escape from reality. But then again, I do things other than that to escape reality. I play hockey for hours on end to escape reality. I play guitar to escape reality...

Movie: Space Odessy as I was telling you Xev was pretty cool. Also, Star Wars original movies. And Spanish Prisoner (I've seen it 3 times high and each time it was a different movie).

How do you figure?? How is one activity any different than another? There's a member on the boards here who was able to naturally release the same chemicals that marijuana does. Marijuana is a natural substance. I'm not denying that some people use marijuana as a release from reality, but DEFINETLY not all. A lot do it just because it's an enjoyable activity, such as myself. And even if it is as a release from reality, what's wrong with that?

Oh god you have no idea. During winter here in Toronto (which was a long winter), I spent on school days from 11:30-1:30 on the ice then from 3:30-5:30. On weekends and during the 2 1/2 weeks of winter break I spent basically from 9:00-12:00 and 1:30-5:30 on the ice. I needed my skates sharpened every other day during the break! When you start off, if you can't skate yet, yo uwill suck. If you can skate, you will suck. It will be slightly frustrating trying to get the game going but if you learn how to skate (or already can pretty decently), it will get very fun, very fast. Just work on stick handling and you'll be there in no time!

The fact that it's an enjoyable activity doesn't make it okay. It's a gateway drug, for one thing. It's illegal, for another thing. It makes you do stupid shit. My brother got his retarded ass kicked out of the house when he was younger than you are for smoking pot all day at school.

There's a key difference between skating and skating hockey! Anyway, like she said, if you're athletic you can pick it up relatively easy. Skating while stickhandling while looking for a pass while looking for an open way to get to a point to score is hockey. Trying to figure out 5 things at once in your head is hockey.

Sometimes I eat for pleasure. Does that also make me a loser? Smetimes I drink (not necessarily alcohol) for pleasure. Does that make me a loser? Is everyone who drinks alcohol a loser?

Nein. The idea of a gateway drug is pathetic. I never understood the logic. Everyone has access to marijuana. Everyone has access to alcohol. Everyone has access to tobacco. Once you get into one of these things, access to harder drugs becomes easier because you know more people. But acccess to harder drugs is NEVER restricted. And by teh way, 99% of the people I know did alcohol or tobacco before marijuana.

I have two things to say about this. Smoking all day at school means you're already a stupid little shit. I smoke once, twice, ABSOLUTE TOPS three times a week. And never, ever, ever during school hours. Goes against my policy. If you read back in this thread you'll notice my dislike for the kids at my school who smoke during lunch. Two, your parents are assholes. Any parent who would kick a kid out of their house younger than 16 years old does not deserve children. I believe it's sad and your parents have done far more damage to the kid than good in kicking him out.

 

You have no idea what was going on at my house to make my parents kick out my bother. My parents aren't the assholes, my brother is.

 

Understandable. I still wouldn't kick a 15 year old out of my house for anything. Send him to a school or a clinic? Yes. Kick him out? Unlikely.

If I could find a drug with no bad effects then maybe I'd try it. But when it comes down to it, drugs are bad for you. I don't drink coffee, alcohol, or smoke anything.

I think its funny that the government lets people drink alcohol and smoke tobacco cigarrettes, but people can't smoke weed. Alcohol kills lots of people... so many! Tobacco too, and probably only because it was 'commercialised'... If you were just smoking tobacco by itself it probably wouldn't be too bad. But the tobacco industry had to put all that other crap into smokes for taste and addictivness. I heard that if weed was legalised then it could maybe go the way of tobacco and get some other bad crap in it, for the taste and to make it more addictive. (this was from a reputable radio news source.. something about the medical marijuana in canada.. sorry that I forgot)

I also have heard that DMT isn't too bad for you (from a scientific book detailing experiments with it). No leftover stuff in you like LSD, and it doesn't last longer than an hour, by then it is out of your system completely. And, it will make you higher than anyother drug. (It is a hallucinogenic)

You can make it from types of grass, or rarer tree bark. So some day in the summer I'll have to go about collecting parts to see if I can get some.

DMT, btw, is probably extremely rare in your local drug scenes. You get so high in three puffs that you won't be able to toke anymore. High lasts for 30 minutes. Substance leaves body by one hour. But it is like a substance in your body so it can't be checked for. Only side effects would be the increased heart rate, which could be dangerous for some people.

Doubt it. At first, at least. The government would still greatly want to deteer people from smoking marijuana. And they wouldn't make it sold by private properties. It would liekly be sold by the government. Besides, if that did happen, people would just go back to buying the illegal stuff. Hell, most of them wouldn't stop buying the illegal stuff!

 

Hey Mallory, let's try to stick to the topic, ey? And again, weed isn't a drug.....you may classify it as a drug because it alters your mind....but so does spinning around as fast as you can or holding your breath for a real long time. Do some research sucka!!!!
