Baron mardy arse I posted this thread because it relates to art and artists I support anyone with talent who is locked in a bubble (see his latest wire scultpure on front page) due to low self confidence, when they should be out there making it happen! I have thus employed myself as his self confidence boosting, sculpture awareness raising pain in the butt! So I am posting about him all over the net. The more positive feedback he gets, the more inspired he is to carry on! His sculpture isn't just wire, it's evokes an emotional response, which is amazing given the medium he is using! He deserves recognition for what he does.

This is the forum for art and culture and ToR has every right to post the works of this artist here. Baron, if you really find no interest in this man's work, maybe this is the wrong thread for you. ToR Frankly his sculptures are stunning. The form and balance in this guy's work is amazing. I have never really been a huge fan of wire sculpture, but this man's work is beautiful. He manages to capture movement and it seems to flow through each sculpture, something that is very hard for any artist to do, especially in this form of art. ToR, you said he has already sold some pieces? Has he considered sending some images of his works to not only galleries, but editors of gardening magazines and landscape designers and architects? It could get his work out there for more people to see. Also some of the art magazines?
Thank you Bells for those words of encouragement I shall pass them on. This thread and any comment I have made anywhere else on this forum is really just to help Bob (thtough feedback) to realise how talented he is. He always acts surprised when someone likes his work which is a nonsense. In short he needs a proper kick up the arse. Despite my thread request not a single member here has left a comment on Bobs space, but he has read this thread here so job done. Feedback is all I desired. Hence pics for those who can't access myspace. Too many pics for me to post them all here, which why I just gave a link. Anyway, thanks
I think there are no comments on the myspace page, because most of us don't have and don't want a myspace account.
which is why I posted pics here. As I said the link was just for ease as there are many more pics on his myspace than I can copy here, they are quite varied in form and it's a shame not to get a proper look. comments on his myspace aren't that improtant really, he gets the message as he's seen this thread and is quite moved (very emotional these arty types)and presently feeling very inspired! So thank you all that have contributed a review here.
I love his work! The sculptures are so life-like! I didn't know what to expect from the term "wire sculpture", but it certainly wasn't this. Tell him to keep up the good work. The sculptures remind me of ghosts, almost; they look almost like an image superimposed over the background, very intruiging and beautiful.
