Yeah, it's been done before a few times.

But it's still a popular topic.

I've been a musician for more than fifty years so my tastes are pretty varied and my record collection (guess we're not supposed to call them that anymore) goes way back. I've been working in Washington DC for several years where there's a huge concert scene, some of the ones I've been to:

    The Killers
    Stephen Stills
    Ozomatli
    Filter
    Starsailor
    The Cult
    The Doors with Ian Astbury
    Shakira
    Rob Thomas
    The Church
    Joan Osborne
    Los Lobos
    Jonatha Brooke

Other memorable concerts over the years:

    Suicidal Tendencies
    Weird Al Yankovic
Metallica and Guns n' Roses co-headlining the Rose Bowl
    AC/DC
Ozzy Osbourne with Metallica as the supporting act in their speed-metal days
Pink Floyd's "The Wall" from the 16th row
    Grateful Dead
    Joe Satriani
Aerosmith in a 2,000 seat auditorium
    Black Sabbath
    Blue Oyster Cult
    Tangerine Dream
Crosby, Stills & Nash on their first tour
Elton John on his first tour
    Philip Glass "Koyaanisqatsi"
    Strauss "Metamorphoses"
    Vaughan Williams "The Lark Ascending"

I play electric bass, everything from Velvet Revolver to Chuck Berry.

Decemberunderground is one of my favourite albums, but i reckon AFI's Sing The Sorrow is way better. I love them both. Cancer is also one of my favourite songs, too.

My favourite songs are (in no particular order)

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
    AFI - This Celluloid Dream
    My Chemical Romance - Cancer
Job For A Cowboy - Suspended By The Throat
    Aiden - The Suffering
    Korn - Coming Undone
    Atreyu - Shameful
    Slipknot - The Heretic Anthem
My Chemical Romance - I Never Told You What I Do For A Living
    AFI - Love Like Winter
Job For A Cowboy - Knee Deep
    Slipknot - Spit It Out
    Aiden - Knife Blood Nightmare

Last spring, in the sake of friendship and cultural goodwill, my good roomate introduced me to "coheed and cambria". They are okay. "Fall out boy" is good too
