    Oh good, Doctor Who is proceeding nicely. Glad to hear it has a bit of planned distance.

    darksidZz, the Borg were one of the best Trek adversaries IMO...except a little problem came when the creators began to humanize them. They should have been as unwaveringly ruthless as the Daleks. Even further to that, the replacement ultimate-baddies, Species 8472, were humanized as well! The storylines were good, but if all the villians become tamed...then the series dies a natural death.

    I propose to make a scifi series that involves a federation of planets at war with the time lords, daleks, replicators, jaffa, ori, borg dominion, cylons, the empire or wathever star wars has and a couple of others. Do you think it would be succesful? There would not be a script but this would be compensated by a large budget for CG and many lesbian semi aliens

    ...okay
    I propose to make a scifi series that involves a federation of ... moons at war with the time doctors, plunger boys, replicos, java, oni, zorg, dominons, toasters, the monarch.
    ... problem solved? No gay people but perhaps a male pregnancy for fun.

    basicly it would be a new version of baywatch... but with explosions made in Europe where the laws on nudity are less strict and a cencored version for the american eyes like with T'pol ass in star trek

    Part of the problem is that when they do actually come up with a good show, they usually run it into the ground rather than replace it when it gets old and warn out. So instead of interesting new sci-fi we get things like Star Trek: The Next One, that stupid Babylon 5 Ranger show, Battle Star Galactica 2, etc.

    I'd like to see Farscape return. It did not run that long and the stories weren't that bad, better than some of the stories from the newer Star Trek and Stargate.
    Thankfully Doctor Who made a comeback, but I think Torchwood is crap.
    Some 'Dalek conquering the universe' movies would be nice as they are the best baddies about.
    A friend told me George Lucas was planning a series based around Star Wars for 2008, probably a timeline between part 3 and 4.

    I saw a movies in the old day's where the ship has 9 vegitation domes and the only human left on board sends the last remaining dome into space with a droid to take of the plants;
    It's been to long to remember the name though.

    Personally i though Firefly was an exellent show. loved the movie too. to bad not enough people shared my opinion or the show wouldn't be cancelled.
