Ok, now here are MY financials! LOL!! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I earn about $1,100 a month. Plus $366 from the government (child tax). Plus $700 from my dad (yeah, it's lame, but I won't need it if I manage to get a decent job / get a decent business started). So the total is $2,166. Expenses... I don't own a car, so money is not wasted. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Food is $700 (that's how much it cost you have a diabetic pregnant wife, hence my dad's help. LOL!!), other bills add up to about $300, incidentals some $100. Rent is $800.... So my total expenses is $1,900. So I'm capable of saving about $200 per month (lately I've been saving $400, because my rent is still $600). So in one year, I will be able to save 12 X $200... $2,400... Meh... Ok, so what do you think. I think it is lame. And I have a lame job too (altough it is fun sometimes). If I get my business going, I would be making $30/hour. Working 40 hours a week like I'm doing now would get me $6000- almost 6 times as much as I'm making now. My business website is almost ready, so I will post it later, if you would like to comment on it. But anyways... the purpose of this thread is to make fun of darkie's thread anyways... So... how are my financials? Exquisite, eh!? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Well, if you are able to save $200/month after living expenses and other essentials, you're doing just fine, although it will be quite a strain once the child is born. I am quite interested in reviewing your website. I would like to be a helpful critic. I have some basic knowledge of designing web sites, and what seems like a lifetime of proofreading and typesetting experience.
I feel much better after seeing this, not because your finances are poor but because I am glad somebody likes me Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
As much of a no-no as it is, I'd consider doing some cash work to top that up a little. When the baby comes, expenses will go up, despite careful planning. Get rid of some old crap at a yard sale/car boot sale. Ebay some stuff. Deliver fliers for a few hours a week to earn some extra baby money and keep it in a jar. When you have loose change, put it in a jar. When you're broke, use the emergency fund Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I will be done as soon as I find out my new phone number. Maybe within a couple of days... Hopefully! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
What do you mean "cash work"? My own business? What do you mean by fliers? I do that with 1 cent coins. I used to do that even with $2! But I have a wife now... Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Here, try this. I'm not sure if it's going to work... http://pages.google.com/preview/ngu...0ee16a9d9149b350cfb&no-cache=7960184803992785
Because to buy the same place would cost me over $1,000 per month and I don't have over $15,000 in my account...:bugeye:
Anything that pays cash. Just don't tell the taxman! Handing out leaflets, putting them through peoples doors, delivering phonebooks or newspapers at night. Anything that isn't too demanding and pays ok. Ideally, the guy will ask your first name and that's it. lol. Ah well. You could try again, but hide it this time Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
