Mitochondria against Apoptosis

    It appears that mitochondria...the once bacteria and now an essential powerhouse of the cell refuse to go into Apoptosis and activate an efficient energy saving mechanism of NAD+ production when cells are not over nourished. And this is the reason why people who eat a bit of food live longer.

    I wouldnt mess with apoptosis, mostly when mitochondria is damaged/not working, cells cant go into apoptosis and with few other mutations you have a cancer cell.
