Hmmmm.... making chemical and biological weapons, not to mention nuclear weapons that will most likely be used against the US and US interests. And clearly demonstrating character traits of a madman. Uhhh... making a televised broadcast urging people to destroy any American interests, ahhh... let me think, I know theres more

-he had mass destruction weapons before the first golf war
-he had them when the UN-ambassadors could still keep an eye on his weapons
-he had them when the 2nd golf war started
    -since that, nobody knows.....

doesn't need much thinking to conclude he must have those weapons now...

But bomb someone because of that will only make him use the weapons.
The hate against US and friends in the middle-east will increase, whole governments near Iraque can fall, because of this stupid war. Terrorist acts will only be supported by this.

The cure is worser than the disease.

Ya, Id say the same thing. But I think their hate goes deeper than all that. I think that no matter what we do (war or not), they will still hate and they will still attack. I am against the war as of right now, and I dont think the US should be trying to save the whole damn world when noone stands behind us anyways. So lets just chill out, kick back and wait for our despair.

    Cheers

"Hmmmm.... making chemical and biological weapons, not to mention nuclear weapons that will most likely be used against the US and US interests"

Kind of like the U.S. does? And what about Star Wars? That doesn't exactly seem like a strive for peace to me.

"But I think their hate goes deeper than all that."

    Explain and prove?

"I think that no matter what we do (war or not), they will still hate and they will still attack."

Oh dear lord. You don't still think Sadam is going to launch an attack on US soil, do you? Listen to me - he is not that fucking stupid. That is suicide. And do not tell me that he is crazy enough or Osama-esque enough to commit suicide like that because he is not. More than anything he is power-driven. And attacking on US soil removes him of all power.

"and I dont think the US should be trying to save the whole damn world when noone stands behind us anyways"

Is he going to attack Canada? Nope. How about Britain? Doubt it. The US? Only if he's dumber than any man who has taken over that much has ever been. Way I sees it you wouldn't be saving anyone. Sadam hasn't done a single thing that warrants an attack yet. And as far as Bush aids are concerned, letting the UN go in and do it's duty is not an option. Like Bush said - he wants a regime change, not peace or safety.

"The hate against US and friends in the middle-east will increase, whole governments near Iraque can fall, because of this stupid war. Terrorist acts will only be supported by this."

    Well said, Kned.
