i watched a weapons development documentary about this gun recently on TV, it is an amazing tool passing every test thrown at it. when i just looked up some more info on it i found out that the british MoD are arming officers with these badboys. the armour piercing power is fantastic, it has its own unique round a 4.5 mm round if i remember right. it punches right through kevlar and teflon helmets and vests/jakets with ease, the power of an assualt rifle but as light and compact as a small sub machine gun, the sound is very surpressed also ideal for covert urban warfare and medium to close range gun fights. can punch right through armoured cars and you can even shoot it out infront of you simular to a pistol/sidearm grip due to its low recoil.

an all around damn fine weapon that any soldier would respect.

    peace.

ETC...why would you want this weapon? I mean...you are now a father, think of the baby. Less problems with the law = better for the baby=better for you.

    Forget the past and forgive.

i dont want the MP7 you can admire something without wanting to own one. its a very imressive gun i cant see any fault with it, i would like to shoot it on a range or something though i admit.

just because im a father doesent mean the last 22 years have been wiped, guns arent dangerous people are. in the hands of good people there is no threa to the innocent only the evil.

    ps. forgive who?

    peace.

if only this way the world would have worked...accidents happen. And guns are one time deal, loaded with bullets and released at once without much thought, a second later it will be too late before someone is dead and gone. Guns have no heart, guns have no mercy, people make mistakes, they sometimes forget what power guns hold in them...and danger that lies within this.

Step away before it takes you.
so you are not mad at the cop?

I have a strong attraction to guns as well...I am Sagittarius in horoscope and I feel endowed to know that my symbol holds a weapon with which to shoot with, bow and arrow. I feel this symbol on many levels of my life. I feel great need to have protection for myself...a gun with loaded plastic bullets (with legal velocity as high as 370 m/s and accuracy 25/25) I wanted to buy it and feel endowed to hold power with me. But imagine the danger that one would have having the power that is over his own. Small anger...and that power will be out of control. So I never bought it.

its just a weapon, they are needed in todays world even the most kind hearted must realise the need for weapons, look around its not a nice world everyone is at war, from countries and rival factions right down to the drug and gang wars on our own city streets. police and armed forces must be armed.

i can picture you sitting upon your haggard donkey in the middle ages, trying to convince a fletcher as he sits over his tools lining up his newly fashioned arrow at eye level checking the straightness of the shaft, that bows are dangerous and they should all wield bunches of pink flowers instead, to fend off the rampaging enemy hordes.

    what cop?

real warriors dont fight because they want to, they do it in times of need because they have to. not happy over victory and slaughter of his foe but instead treats it as a funeral and doesent enjoy killing his fellow man, even if it is the enemy it is still life.

i dont feel powerfull when i wield a weapon, i feel powerful inside of me unnarmed or armed. its not the way we fight that makes us heroes its what we fight for that holds power. i would choose a life of peace over one of war , true i enjoy martial training but not what i am training for.

    peace.

oh, those cops. i dont hate anybody i wouldnt say beat up though, just hit with batons and roughed up a bit with the handcuffs. they act out of emotion i see fear in all of thier eyes, they are scared and feel a threat to there power because i dont bow down to them and i treat them as equals. they are quick to resort to violence and agressive confrontation.

    it was a minor incident.

    peace.

MP 7 hmm, should be an improvement off the MP 5, both were excellent guns though.

We all know that sooner or later the "bad" guys will get these things as

many assault rifles are now in the hands of the criminals. What do the police

have to defend themselves against such a threat and how many more

people are going to die from this gun?

You must be an arms dealer.

I'm sure the first thing Chi hoped for when he created this thread was a response containing a patronizing, condescending lecture from you. Any chance you might say something somewhat relative to the topic (i.e. the gun and its features itself), and not why guns are dangerous? We all know what guns are capable of, thanks.

Its' definitely a wierd looking little piece. I think I'd rather have the MP5 instead. I also think I'd rather have a pure pistol (if I was carrying just a sidearm) than one of those. They're not quite a pistol, and they're not quite a sub-machine gun. It's somewhere in between.

I'm not an arms dealer, but I was thinking the same thing Solidus was about you and dragon.

No way, it's a nice assault pistol. That lil' fucker reminds me of a P90.

    I wouldn't say more deadly... they're both (MP7 & P90) PDW's using similar calibres...

The P90 gets a + point for the fact that theres a pistol using the 5.7 cartrige but H&K are developing one for the 4.6 aswell...
