    I read all the posts on topics that interest me. If there's an asshole in there I just nail him or her. I do have to make sure that it's really something that violates SciForums' rules, not just my personal sensibilities. My skin is pretty thick but I'm merciless with people who post anti-science comments on the science boards or who fraudulently misrepresent science. If it's just insults and flaming I keep it to a minimum on Linguistics because its highly international participation could give rise to misunderstandings. On the other boards it's up to their moderators, or up to someone to complain. We have to remember that most of our members are children who can't be held to adult standards.

    I have three but I still occasionally take a look at some of their posts. That's always enough for me to remember WHY I put them on ignore to begin with.
