Those 2 movies were not anti-American or anti-soldier. On the contrary. They were pro-military and pro-American. They merely humanized the other side, with out sending the message that the war was somehow wrong.
But they still weren't huge hits, despite being pro-American, as some people here seem to think that these current wave of war movies are failing due to their anti-Americanism bits of truth. It's a flooded market. I don't wanna watch those kind of movies anymore the same reason why I'm tired of always hearing about 9/11. Remember, our favorite Fahrenheit 9/11 grossed over $222 million, and similar movies did well for their time, but that fad is over. Everything else is basically rehashed. Why should I pay to hear what I most likely already know? That's the bad part about docu-dramas. They're only good when fresh. If there were a Fahrenheit 9/11 Part 2 right now, it'd fail the same way. - N
